They did not leave a message.  I called back within one minute and got a recorded line saying I had either visited a partnering website or retailer that gave them my nunber.  It said I was elligible for a $100 gift card.  I hung up at this point as I'm sure they were looking for something from me.

They called to tell me I won a $100 gift certificate. Finally! I had to give them my cc# to pay for the $14.95 shipping and handling but this seems legit. The girl was sweet and talked in hush tones on the phone. I can't wait to go shopping!!

Yeah, this call was obviously a scam. I hope you didn't actually give them your cc#.

Phishing scam. They want your credit card number to send you a free gift.  Marked this as telemarketer because there is no choice for scammer.

Sorry but you are either working with them or very, very naive. The way you write, I bet you are working with them "Mitch".  Big time scam - NEVER EVER give your CC#

We have seen a marked increase in this type of call.  They only want to get your credit card and then They go shopping.  If you want to have some fun, keep them on the phone, even giving them a phony credit card number.  This will waste their time and piss them off.  They waist our time, let's waste theirs.
