- suz| 1 replyThey called and told me that I had won one of five prizes, t.v. $1,000 cash, Caribbean Cruise, 1 week at a Hilton hotel, 8 days and 7 nights in Orlando Florida. They wanted to confirm all of my personal information. I asked for a call back number and they gave 716.406.4415
- Caller: National Grand Central
- Carla replies to suzI got the same call today! Except I thought the man said 'National Grant Center', but I realize he must have said 'GranD CenTRAL', as he left the exact same call-back number for me, 716-404-4415. Thanks for help in clearing this up... kind of disturbing though, I wonder how they got my number...
- CarlaA scam call that asks for your personal info, claiming that you have won all kinds of great prizes, if you would just give them your credit card info to confirm...lol. they claim to be called 'NATIONAL GRAND CENTRAL.' I can choose either 1. the full cover package (hotel and airfare) in Mexico for 3 nights or 2.one week in Florida with hotel& accommodation but no airfare included. This person over the phone mentioned to me that I don't need to bring any cash nor credit cards- it's absolutely free.
I was asked for the information such as name & last name and the person name with who I'll be coming to pick my prize. He said that once I get to the office I'll be asked for my ID and to fill up some form.

Typical scumbag. accurise has so many complaints on the web and an "F" rating with the BBB it's really hard to believe that anyone would do business with them. But here's what's really hard to believe. They tell people they have to pay $60.00 for a credit report! Everyone knows that you can get your credit report for free! This is the biggest scam of all time! Getting people to pay $60.00 for something they can get themselves for free! These guys are crooks alright!

- drheemhouseReceived call from 716-406-4415 on 04/28/11 at 7:56 p.m. from a man with Indian accent who identified himself as "Robert Miller." When I pressed him for the name of his company, and asked if this was a sales call, he became belligerent, said that it was, of course, not a sales call, that he was the "MANAGER."
Again, I asked for the name of his company, and he told me it was "Premium Destinations" in Buffalo, NY. I told him we were not interested, asked him to removed our number from his call list, and he raised his voice and asked what was wrong with me, wasn't I feeling well, etc., etc. I terminated the call.- Caller: Premium Destinations

- David| 2 repliesI just got a similar call from a man named Frank and he said he was calling from Global Connections International. I asked him for the website and, at first, he said that they don't have one. Then, he said, "Oh wait...yes...We do have a website and it is www.exploregci.com and that they are located in Buffalo NY."
I checked out the website and asked him to verify AGAIN where they were located. He said that their main headquarters was in Buffalo NY, but the website said otherwise. I pressed him about who was the company CEO/President (since Frank insists that he was a Manager). At first, he said he didn't know...Later (After I heard him typing away - probably going to the website he gave me) he said Tom Lyons (which is what was listed). Epic FAIL, Frank! You are a scammer and I am going to have you prosecuted!
Just for reference, he said I should schedule a time to come to the local office here in my area (Crystal Lake, IL) and pick up my prize package. He said that both my wife and I should be present. I told him I wasn't available to come until mid-November. Anyway, here is the address and informaton he gave:
Global Connections Int'l

You must be one of the callers - KathyI just got a call this morning telling me that we had entered a sweepstakes last April at a "mall", couldn't tell me what mall or any other information. Apparently my husband and I won a 3 day 2 night trip to anywhere we chose including a 5 star hotel accomodation and free round trip airfare. We had to meet at the Crystal Lake location to claim our prize and listen to a 90 minute presenttion. I told the gentleman that I would need to speak to my husband and get back to him which is when he gave me tha above number and said that they were called Global Connections. His extention was #159. The number that showed up on my caller ID is Clarence Cen, NY716-406-4419.

Leaving from any major port in the U.S. If you can provide any more information or any one else
please do. - Sam replies to Jim| 1 replyI got the same thing. Went to presentation. It's all about a time share thing. I am supposed to get airfare for 2 and hotel. Haven't recieved it yet. Contacted them, they said I had to wait 6-8 weeks for the vouchers. We'll see when it comes if it is real or not.
- MikeGot a call from them too, telling me I had won my choice of a couple of trips. Very heavy Indian or Middle-Eastern accent, even though they supposedly were in New York. What got them caught? My zip code is shared by 3 different cities. They stated that I filled out the form with the default city, which I would never use on any form that I supposedly filled out. They gave me the 406-4415 number to call back, which was similar to, but not the same as the caller ID number.
To Mark and others supporting the number: You obviously work for the telemarketing company and have no idea how transparent you are. "Every buddy" is not everybody, and your grammar is so bad and similar to the caller's that you are an obvious fake. You have been busted, and busted good. Go take a long walk off a short pier and quit calling us. It is obvious you are some sort of telemarketing group or identity theft group, so I hope you get caught and put in jail where you belong.- Caller: STS Travel (supposedly)
