Called this number back and determined from the person answering the phone that it was Quality Asset Recovery (QAR), which the person said was a debt collection agency. They were looking for a particular individual who had formerly had this phone number listed as a contact.They stated they would take my phone number off their list of possible numbers to reach the person they were looking for.

Ive been receiving intimidating phone calls from this number about a 3 or 4 year old debt that I can not pay due to financial burden, but they keep calling my phone back to back even during my work hours, it has come to the point where I have to turn my phone off during work hours and when I check my voice mail they just continue to call and hang up...Im really stressed out and upset with this situation.....

Buy/get OOMA or Vonage or one of those type service and simply block the numbers as they come in...I give them the "Number disconnected" message...my phone never ringes...

Called me today. Left no message. I blocked them also.
