Third-party debt collectors who buy old (sometimes 20 years) junk debts for pennies on the dollar & try to collect the full amount. Reported to give false information about who they are (law office, law enforcement, FBI) in order to get information.

I had a message left on my voice mail from these people. The message said that they were given our name as a possible, " Who to contact" from...and get this...someone they are trying to get in touch with. And they want us to call them back. Do they actually think people fall for this? I mean they left no name and they gave a phone number they were trying to call as the one they called!  Duhh! They don't even know who they called!

Anyway no one I know would NEVER give out any information about ANYTHING! GOOD LORD, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO!!  Never mind who they say they are. I could say I was the president.

Called and left message from "Calvary..." whatever it was.  Looking for someone who doesn't live here.

Got a call from this number and they said they are looking for the sister of ex of 15 years ago.  I figure they are doing some skiptracing.  Anyway, they are some debt collection agency.

these idiots called saying they wanted to serve a warrent. They were going to repo our car for a $500 debt....I ask them to come and get it and hung up. They call 4-5 x's a day
