received a call today (12/15) asking for Angela Mcelroy - no one by that
name here.  Told me to press 1 if I was Angela and if not press 2, Press
2 and then it told to press 1 if Angela not available, press 2 (forgot)
and told to press 3 if Angela not here.  I pressed 3 and music came on and
it wounded like intermittent clicking.  I hung up.

I call the scum back and some damn fool hung up on me when I was asking him a question " as if he was too good to talk " So I called back and got some Bi^%* of a woman and she would replete telling me who they were but when I would ask her she would tell me " I told you the last 15 times " Not one time did she tell me who they were  { LAIR } !

Get a good coaches whistle and make the persons day. Write on a paper the phone numbers that you get tired of calling and then when that number shows up then blow it in their ear.  

I know they were an lawyer collection agent but I can't remember the name.

Called last week wanting to speak to a person that worked here over 5 years ago and left the file number on message. I called back and left a voice mail for Debbie, the name of firm is something, something Bergman in Williamsville, NY, left message that this person did not live here and no longer worked here. Today, 05-21-10 get a recorded message from them if I was this person to press 1,. I pressed 1 and it left a message to call back an 800 #. I have caller ID so I called that number and when I went to explaining she hung up on me, I called back and talked to Mary and explained it again, she said that she had taken my number off their system.

The voice message said he was calling from Colleen Ann Bergman (I think - actually it sounded like Coleeann Bergman) and gave another phone number to respond to: 888 900 9749 ext 4221. This is a Bill collections. I did a reverse phone number search on White Pages and the indicated caller ID number of 716 635 9550 is listed as: Jonathan P Cawley 415 Lawrence Bell Dr Williamsville, NY 14221 (716) 635-9550 as a General Practice Law office.

However, when I did a reverse search on 800notes,com the number is listed as: Bronson & Migliaccio, LLP 415 Lawrence Bell Dr. Williamsville, NY 14221 888 900-9749   (888) 990-8100
716 635-9550    Fax  (716) 635-9556

Now all these numbers will be listed in my cell phone contacts as "Do Not Answer".

Yup, they call me too, they leave a message saying that they are from the law offices of Colleeann Bergman and your lawyer or you need to call us back immediatly at 888 900 9749 ext 4221.  I KNW IT WAS SOME BILL COLLECTOR!!

Contacted my cel w/o permission.

A lady from that number called me and left a message on my answering machine saying she was calling from Cawley Bergmann Law Office and it is about some important documents that were sent to my home and they have not heard from me or my attorney and it is urgent. I did not know what it was and never received any documents from them, but it sounded important so I called back and found out it was about a credit card debt, so I explained the mix-up regarding credit card company, but she was very rude and made personal degrading comments to me, she also had false information about me that I do not know where she came up with. What I am wondering is: I thought according to fair debt collection laws that in any communication from a debt collector, they have to say that it is an attempt to collect a debt, but she never said those words at all. I wonder how many collection laws they are violating by misleading and falsely accusing people! I would like to know if anyone else knows if they violated the FDCA and if so, how to report them for that.

I received two successive calls from that number that said they were calling to "resolve this matter".  Something about Attorney John Cawley's office.  I just listened to the messages.  A bunch of hot air.

I also received a call and the caller ID had Law Cawley Berg. I did not answer but waited for the message on voicemail and a female left a message also stating for me to call concerning this matter but didn't say what the matter was. Something told me to research this on the Internet and I am glad I did. I received this call at work and initially thought it was work related because the nature of my job we receive calls from lawyers all of the time. But in this case I am sure it is about a debt even though she did not mention it in the message.

This numbrt keeps calling my cell. They ask for a person I do not know. I tell them I am not ther person repetedly.. they keep harassingme. I will no longer answer.

I am purchasing a no contract phone with 1000 triple minutes and I am going to call them with a *67 to block my number and I will call from dozens of different locations to all of their numbers....even home number if I can obtain it.  I will also buy my no contract phone from a distance from my house in another state, requesting a far distant phone number.   I wish everyone would do this.   It will cost me about $75 but it is well worth it. I will call their toll free number from public telephone.   With call demographics when calling a toll free number they may even be able to obtain blocked numbers...not sure

I reeived the exact same call this morning, the caller was a female, she said she wanted to speak to my manager or someone in a higher position, I tald her to never call me back here again and if she need to get hold of me she need to contact me by mail.B@@#%$@#% I wonder if it is legal for them to harrasse us at work like that.. I have to investigate in case she call back again..I'm sure she will.

After hearing a message from this firm 3 days in a row I decided to call back and find out what they want.  Unlike most others being harrassed I suspect that my husband's son by previous marriage( 53 yr old Jr) has once again managed to get some fool to sell him something and then failed to pay them. We are old and do not need any more stress.  I explained to the caller and asked him to please leave us alone...we do not owe anyone anything!!!  I can only hope.

llady  called and asked me for my soc sec no  i said no who is this and she would not tell me  who she was this is totally illegal and the company should be sued for invaision of privacy !
