- rosei got a call for my son, the caller said they were calling from tri-financial. I've been on line reading about them and am trying to find out what's up with this "company."
- Caller: Tri Fanancial
- ehoppBogus collection agency that uses scare tactics and harassment. They call me repeatedly insisting I owe money on a bank account that I've never even had. Best part is the amount they're trying to collect from me is less than $75! Seriously, wth? They will harass, claim they are turning you over to "the county" - whatever they have to do. Ignore them, they are bogus and will harass you. The NY Attorney General has many complaitns about them.

This organization is a simple collection agency operating out of Northern New York. They will threaten with court action and a negative credit reporting. They are constantly changing their company name to avoid the numerous investigations into them and the illegal tactics that they utilize to scare consumers into wiring them money. If you receive a call from them, please DO NOT SEND THEM money, and DO NOT admit that you owe a dime on any account. Remember: They do not have any authority to file charges or motions in a court of law. They are only threats, which are illegal. Simply tell them to send you a validation of the alledged debt. The burden of proof is on the collector, not you. http://anthonylemons.blogspot.com - Anthony LemonsHere are the culprits: http://anthonylemons.blogspot.com/2009/07/brewer-micheals-and-cain-debt.html
- greg selbyhas been harrassing me at work for a 250 dollar payday loan that has swelled to 1000. unfortunately i have paid back 600 dollars already but will pay back no more. How do I stop them from bothering me at work. it is going to cost me my job if they do not quit calling.
- Caller: tri financial and associate
- Anthony LemonsGreg, you need to not send anymore money to them. You need to send them a Cease and Desist Letter. If they call you again, file an online complaint with your States attorney generals office. Also, you paid them well over the legal amount. Get that money back by filing a complaint with the AG office. Laws limit how much a payday loan can acrue interest.
- jraeSome guy named Jordan Lang just called me at my office and started in about my closed bank account and that I owe them on three accounts by tomorrow or they will press charges. Anyone who claims you have to pay for their attourney fees is an idiot. These people are scammers do NOT give them anything.
- Caller: TRI financial
- Pissed Off Army Wife! These people are unbelievable! Amazing what you can learn with one little google search. These jerks keep calling us and our family claiming they are collecting a debt. They have said they were Bank of America, Laywers, and so on. The problem is this debt was paid off and none of the reputible companys that were ligitimately involved have ever even heard of Tri Financial. Also with some research I found that they have several lawsuits pending for this same issue. After everything I have learned I think the next correspondence with them will be from the JAG office with the United States Army!
- Caller: Tri Financial of Tri Associates
- J FThey call 3-4 times in a row, left a nice message but when you call them back they yell and there claiming I owe $5,500 on a $500 payday loan I never even opened back in May. Saying if I don't pay them a settlement amount of $395 today over the phone they will take me to court. They had ALL of my information and claimed they were looking at my credit report online. I haven't lived at home in over 6 years since I'm married and they had all my parents, sis and bro info also. They also called my Dad and said your daughter better call us by 5pm or else. There starting to scare me
