Keep getting calls from this number for a debt of a distant nephew who is serving in Iraq.  I explained this.  They don't listen nor care.  I'm not his wife or Power of Atty. so can't help them.  What's the point in continuing to call other than harrassment?  How did they get my cell number anyway - he's not even my nephew but my husbands??

This company is completely innappropriate. They have called my home, my husbands cell phone, my mothers home phone and cell phone looking for a distant relative. Do not give these people any information. It is not our responsibility to help them "track down" people that owe money. I am currently seeking legal advice on harrassment laws because this company is getting to be a nuiscance.

These lowlives call all the time for my son.
He is a grown man and has his own home.
BY LAW they cannot discuss anything about his debt except to ask his location or phone #.
They go into great detail about his debt to me.
These people are relentless and rude, screaming at me...which I understand is legal. It is easy to understand how some people who have lost everything and are under a burden of debt could be driven to commit suicide by these sharks.

Fight fire with fire people, these guys are rude to the extreme, they make threats which are illegal. Record the entire phone conversation anytime you have them on the phone. here is information on 2 of the employees of LHR inc, and possibly their home phone numbers and addresses.

They f**ked with the wrong guy this time, you call and make threats to me you better be able to protect yourself.

or if you are into a more passive approach, just send them a cease and desist letter, fax it to them , and then mail one certified mail to them, once that is done if they contact you not only does the federal government fine the crap outta them but you have legal grounds to persue legal action against them as well. Not only can use actually sue the company but you can even sue the actual individual making the call on behalf of the company.

Keeps calling several times in a row even when we say wrong phone #. Please someone make them stop.

I am a former employee of the company LHR INC. Here is information that I hope you guys will find useful. Hope it helps.
The owners of the company are Dave Hastie and Wayne Lewis.
The Director of Operations is John Skipper. (extention 2222)
The individual referenced as Maria Pace (which is a fake name) is actually Maria Zawilski. She is a Department Manager.
The Human Resource Manager is Sue Ewing. (ext 2221)
The mailing address and office address is 56 Main St. Hamburg, NY 14075.
The in house attorney is Jennifer Hurley.
Their toll free number is 1-800-616-5473.
Any of these above named people can be reached through this number.
Don't blame the owners entirely, for they are oblivious to most of what goes on.
I worked at this company from July 2004-April 2008. When I left in April, the company was no where near the great company that I had started for nearly 4 years before.

716 calls from NOWHERE!
Starting a couple months I started receiving daily calls with 716 on the caller ID. When I answer nobody is there. The calls come in Monday thru Friday almost the same time everyday. I have service with Verizon  and they are really helpless and incapable of troubleshooting the problem. Support is giving me poor excuses and they rushing to hang up.
I searched the internet and to my surprise there are a few other people posting the same problem. Has anyone gotten anywhere with this problem? Do you have any idea how to stop it?
Please help us this has become such a nuisance!

Everyday, between 8:00 a.m and around 5:00 p.m, a receive phone calls from the number "716".  My cell phone rings literally a half ring, the stops leaving me with a "missed call".  I have gotten these calls repeatedly for about 2 weeks now.  Contact was made with Verizon, who advises me that without a full number, there is nothing I can do.

Calls early in the morning, does not leave a message and hangs up, wakes up my family.
