Got a call from my nephew with this lady on the third line saying that they had a claim on me from a past payday loan. These people been trying this con for the last three years. They want you to send them money to stop legal actions. I told them to stop calling me and my relatives. Don't know how they got my nephew's number. I don't give out numbers of my relatives without their permission. That's why I stay awawy from facebook. Alot of personal infor can be obtained from these scammers.

Today I just received a call from these people saying there's a claim I have to settle?  I don't have any claims, I'm just a full-time college student that works two jobs.  Don't own anything other than my cellphone, which is paid two weeks in advance every month.  Also said my claim was in Orange County, I don't even live in Orange County, I live in New Jersey and there is no Orange County in New Jersey (from what I'm aware, even looked it up).  Can't stand scammers.

Searay collection services from NY has called me and several relatives leaving behind threatening messages. They initially refuse to identify themselves and refuse to provide validation of the so called debt because there isn't any. A man named Bruce has left messages saying there are two claims pending in my local court system. When I asked for validation the mam hot angry and started to yell. Good sign of a scammer. They also wont give you their license number.  These people are scammers. Report them to the FBI and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  The company goes by Searay Portfolio Management. This is a front for their scam.  I've had to block my phone to get this to stop.

They have contacted me and left messages with relatives on debt I didn't owe. They are not a legitimate collection agency but are instead illegally trying to collect fake debt.  I have contacted the FTC and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and filed complaints. Please do the same so that we can stop these criminals. Also had an attorney check them out and was told they are not a legitimate company and to hang up. Much like the comment above I asked for debt validation and there liscense and they refused both.

these people have called me at my place of employment after I have told them not to contact me there.  i have filed a complaint against this company.

This is ridiculous....i have been threatened and the lady that called me said i'll just call everyone you know until you send me this money to rid this debt......a debt that i do not owe.  This should be against the law.....why these people are allowed to continue to harrass and threaten innocent people in order to scam them.  I ahve blocked them from my cell phone and now they are calling my place of business.....is there anything i can to stop this?????

I did have an outstanding balance with a payday loan company, that ultimately led to them selling this debt to Sea Ray. Sea Ray gave me the option of paying it off by the end of 60 days. I made two payments in the first 6 weeks, but still owed them $293 by the end of the sixty day payoff period. On day 57, the decided that they would deduct the balance from my checking account, despite not being ever authorized to do so.

NEVER GIVE SEA RAY ACCOUNT INFO! THEY WILL TAKE WHAT THEY WANT, WHEN THEY WANT, AND LEAVE YOU BROKE.
