Rec'd a call from 716-748-6273. Said she was investigator "so and so" and asked for an associate of mine and i advised that this is a message number and would they like to leave a message? After a 30 second pause, she repeats that she is investigator "so and so" and call disconnects?

Her name appears as laura wittaker on my caller ID hope this help i called back she hung up on me

This is a scam they are trying to take your hard earned money by saying you owe Approx $465 DO NOT PAY these people anything, they will not send you any information by mail and are not a legitimate company. They harass people constantly. if they want your money tell them to take it to court. If a judge tells you to pay them then you can.

Answering machine message:
Looking for a 'named' person in a legal matter.  Needs immediate attention to prevent prosecution.
The named person must contact Investigator ???? at extension 114 today.

This is a scam they buy your name from pay day companies and are not legitimate!  The scary part is these thieves have your social security number!  When I tired to confront them, they hung up on me!

she says her name is Phyllis Jackson.... She says she's a "Investigator" or any other lies. Dont believe a word REPORT HER TO THE POLICE!!!! This needs to come to a end.....

I got the same message on my answering machine.  I called my local police department and they gave me the number to the city's legal department.

Don't be a fool and pay these people sh*t.....Scammers can't give any info.then want u to pay moneygram that is the number one scam option... get a real job and stop trying to scam people that work hard for  there money.....

My mom got a call on 10/25/12 and said I had a warrent from my arrest from number 716-748-6273.

This guy is a SCAM ARTIST.....former employee of his. Jeff Basil. STIFFS PEOPLE ON PAYROLL CHECKS!!!!!!! Eeverything he does is illegal and non compliant with FDCPA. Now he is breaking State Labor Laws. I left because I would not break the law on every call like he wanted. DO NOT EVER PAY THESE PEOPLE. YOUR DEBT IS LEGITIMATE BUT THEY ARE PROBABLY OVERCHARGING YOU BY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And there are no CHECK FRAUD cases being filed, it's a SCARE TACTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
