I get calls from this number and they never say anything.

M&T Bank, calling about mortgage loan

If it is M&T Bank, why is it a different number then the 2 they usually use and why do they not leave a message like they have in the past? Little Fishy.

I get called from  716-817-2996 Buffalo, NV... but there is never any person on the line.  I am calling to try to get them to stop calling.

This is a collection agency. I just got a call & explained that I have had my phone number for 2 years as of Jan. 6th, 2014!  So the people they are looking for NO LONGER HAVE THIS NUMBER!  TWO YEARS AND THEY CONTINUE TO CALL ME.  This is harassment.  I want their name and address.  They need to be reported for harassment.

I would be careful. They do say they are M&T, but we don't have any loans through them. They said we were qualified for a personal loan. We weren't interested. They said, do you want to sign up for web banking - we already are. I think they were looking for a reason to ask us for personal information.

I got a call, found this forum, looked up M & T, called them and was told that they had no idea of why anyone would call me, as they had no record of any mortgage with them.  (mine is paid off 12 years ago, from a different company!)  They could give no reason nor find any calls made to me through their mortgage dept, wondered why no message was left, and apologized for the inconvenience.  
Is this a 'spoofed' number, like spoofed email !

got a call from M & T bank about my account????  What account just hung up on me.
