Just got a call from this company telling me he wanted to deliver a medical alert system to me.  I told him he was a fake and hung up on him..  This is a scam be careful.  On my caller ID the  name that popped up was Buffalo NY which of course in itself is a fake.

How do you get these idiots to stop calling?

ditto for both...they call me almost every day from all kinds of #'s -- i pushed the button they said to get them to stop, but it made no difference...

How do I stop calls from this number?  I am on the Do Not Call list.

Use Google Voice and call them back. Keep their number busy if you have nothing else to do.

Got a call today, Saturday, following several during the week.  If they call more than once, I block the numbers.

told me he was from "shipping department" of a medical alert company.

I get a call from this number several times a week.  I finally noticed that the caller "John" is a recording.  They don't identify the company, and I tried to call the # back and get a fast busy signal.  This is very frustrating, I finally figured out I can block this # since I get my phone services through my cable provider (nice feature!!)

This dude from Medical Alert keeps calling from this #.
Anyopne else he bothers call the Attorney Generals office and report it.

THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM!!!   It is a recorded message  'John' wants to deliver medical equipment that has already been paid for.  I registered a complaint with the Attorny Gernal offce via my computer.  It was pretty easy.  I encourage everyone to do the same.  I would hae to hear about someone being scammed.

I recieved two calls from this number last night.  It was evident to me that it was a scam and I just hung up.....but..... I wonder how many elderly folks might fall for this one.

I answered and talked.  Told them the medical alert system was guarenteed to be here 3 weeks ago.  Now the person whom it was ordered for died.  Went on to explain a full refund was expected.   They hung up on me!   Go ahead and answer the phone - for once give them the business just have fun with it.   Oh, and when it was all said and done I went to the medicare fraud site (google it) and the Atty General's web site to report them.  We must protect and look after the elderly folks!!
