missed call 6 times from number, returned call, busy tone

This is the phone number for Direct Buy of Lancaster... a bunch of telemarketers

Heard that it is Direct Buy. Have told the rep several times to remove me from calling list but they still call a many times a day. Considering contacting my phone carrier and reporting them for harassing me.

I signed up for their $50K makeover contest.  I work evenings.  My husband answers the phone and the caller refuses to give him any information and is exceptionally evasive and rude.  When I called back got the continual busy signal.  Figured out who it was by googling the number and came up with this web site.

This number 717-394-7257 called my cell asking for my fiance, womans name was Nicole, when I asked what it was in reference to she got very ignorant and rude!!! I hung up on her then she called back about 10 mins later and asked for me, and i told her that she just called me and got very rude with me, she got upset and hung up. There is another Phone # 717-509-8092 for the lancaster pa direct buy store, i called it and got a mesage machine. So i left a nice firm mesage.
These people and this place DIRECT BUY IS A JOKE!!!!!!

keep calling literally 5,6 times a day! my son answered because me and my little girl are sick and they even harrassed him!!!

I have been getting calls at least 6x a day for the past couple of days from 717-394-7527 and when I call back it is busy if we answer there is no one there and they hang up.  I hit *57 on my phone and they are traceable but I wonder if the police can do anything about them calling it is very ridiculous that they can call as much as they do I wish someone would answer so I can scream at them!!

This obnoxious company has been calling us as well.  They let the phone ring a few times and then hang up.  Or, they get the answering machine and still hang up without leaving a message.  When I try to call them back I get a busy signal every time.

yes please stop calling! i told them i don't want anything to do with it and they keep calling me every weekday at 2:30pm and 4:00pm

The woman explained I have won a 50K home makeover....all I have to do is come into Bestbuy of Lancaster and will be given 3 gold keys...to open doors...

First I need to ask a few questions......single, married, divorced? Now, why does she have to know this...if I won, I won......scam I am sure of some kind.

My wife just answered this number and a lady asked for me would not tell my wife anything about why she called who she was or any other info. My wife was very distraught and thinking the worst of course and now I can see I will be having to deal with this [***] or get a new blocked number.

What is your problem?  Put me on the do not call list.

I was one of those telemarketers.  I had never done cold calling.  I asked alot of questions during my training (ie: where do these numbers come from, why do we have to call so many times, how am I supposed to sound natural when its scripted?) It was the worst job I ever had.  They get your phone numbers because they buy lists of phone numbers from places you buy things from, or places you've entered your email into ans somehow get your number, I've heard that soon they'll be getting a bunch of lists that will have people's cell phone number also.  As far as calling 6 times a day idk.  If they call for a specific person and they get a spouse they are supposed to talk to them and ask if they are the spouse (husband or wife not girlfriend or boyfriend) they are supposed to give them the info.  If its a boyfriend or girlfriend they will simply say ok I'll back or when is a good time to reach the person.  NOBODY WON A $50k home makeover!  If you agree to have the info sent they send you a key that could possibly turn a lock in the directbuy building, and if it does then you win.  I was told if you don't pick up they will just keep calling.  Also they never leave messages and its automated calling through a computer thats why you can't call back.  If you tell them to take you off the list they are "supposed" to...I did.  But I do know that their were some people that didnt because the potential customer cursed them out so they kept their number in there to piss them off.  I'm glad I no longer work there because I don't like telemarketing.  But there is a ray of sunlight!! The person that owned the franchise no longer owns it.  You can look it up it was on the news you have to watch the news cast.  Corporate took over the lancaster directbuy and hopefully will restore order to the business and make it professional again.
