Got a call from this number. No message left.

Called Aug. 31, 2011 - was listed as PRIVATE. On the other end of the line was a man with a southern draw - spoke very quickly so I couldn't understand exactly was he was saying. He said something about - PP&L - something about and insert and if I had seen it. I asked him which company he was with and he wouldn't tell me - he just repeated what he had asked about the insert. I told him to remove me from his calling list... he then asked me "Now, why would he want to do that?" I told him again to remove me and to not call again, upon which he laughed and then said "I'd be hearing from him again!"

WOW!!!! I'm livid.

I called Verizon and searched the number - all I can determine is that it's a landline located in Annville, PA.

I had a similar phone call just minutes ago... except the guy acted like he couldn't hear me and hung up.  I called the number and waited and waited for someone to answer.  someone finally did and she took a few minutes to sort of explain what the call was about.   from what i gathered, they are trying to get us to switch to their power company, which PP& L will still service. blah blah blah . the first phone call, he was trying to misrepresent himself.  very arrogant, and acting like he was trying to help me.  he was just trying to get my account info so he could switch things. the second person agreed to take me off their call list.

I get similar message from this number today , this is typical scam.
I will report it to local police in Anville PA.

I have been getting anonymous calls all day and I finally answered and it is from From: 717.685.2120 ANNVILLE, Pa.  I told the guy I would call him back and to give me his phone # and name and his name was Lamar Jackson, southern drawl, fast speaking.  I called the # back and I got a recording of Starion Energy and the website is starionenergy.com.  I will be contacting my local energy company in regards to this.  It was just on the news about the people that are advertising PPL jobs and when you get to the interview its in a secluded area and its not PPL.  What is the world coming to?

Received 5 calls from 717-685-2120 today all between 9:15am to 10:15am.  Since we were not at home we had 5 hang ups....no messages.  All were from Annville PA.  Never received a call from this number before.  Thanks for the info regarding it being an electric company .... we also have PPL and have no wish to change.  We will never answer this call.

Calls from 717-685-2120 everyday without caller on other end. Very concerning.

Got a call today, August 22, 2012.  I answered no immediate response.  If you are anybody needing anything important on a phone call you are making, you WILL respond when someone answers...I got complete silence.  I only say hello once, answer or get hung up on!  I am on the do not call list and will be reporting momentarily.

The call was from 717-685-0064.  When I replied that was the number in question...not sure why it was changed...gees, nothing seems to work correctly anymore. Nuff said.
