"Joe Quinn" called to sell us a subscription to his legal referrall website, www.thelaborsite.com   Very pushy. Rude to staff when he called said he was a new client.

Thank you for your posting regarding Mr. Quinn.  He called our office and I felt he was a salesperson, but he made it sound like he needed an attorney.  As I asked questions of him he became very rude and now thanks to your post he will not get anywhere near my boss.  Thanks

Thank for the heads up!  I got a call from this dude too. More legal referral peddling. Now his name is on block. Said he needed an atty for a DUI. When I asked which courthouse he became rude and said he didn't retain us yet and wanted to speak to the atty. first. Figured something was up. Glad I googled 718-263-0126

Don't know what made me google this guys number except that he was a major pain.  Glad I did, he called here too and was extremely rude!  Said he wanted to speak with an attorney about a DUI, when I asked what county he insisted I have the attorney call him.

I just heard from Mr. Quinn also. He called from a "restricted" number so I let it go to voicemail. He said he needed a lawyer, so when I called him back, I offered to make him an appointment for a DUI. He said "Did you happen to notice my area code? I'm out of town." I said "Did you happen to notice that we're in Norfolk, a Navy town, and we get calls from other area codes all the time?" He said Never mind, he'll find somebody else to handle it.

Whatever, dude.

Just got a phone call from Mr. Rude himself! Thank you for these posts. The guy is a jerk! I had a feeling he was fishing and you all confirmed it.

Second time this rude guy called our office.  First time May 2010 and second time today 5/24/11. Same story each time - had a car accident and absolutely insists he speak only with an attorney, mad that I wouldn't put him through to my boss.  What an idiot!

This guy was a complete [***].  He initially called, saying he was looking for an attorney as if he was a client.  I called back and he answered the phone "hello".  Then, when I asked him for the phone number and name of attorneys who use his service, he started cursing at me, dropping F bombs and saying I don't want to F with him.  I asked him if this was a crank call.  He went nuts, talking about shutting down my internet and my phone lines.

We just received a phone call from John Quinn too. Same as the rest. Rude, nasty and ultimately hung up on us after we ask to look into his website with out IT guys.

Our office just got another call from Mr. Quinn...what a jerk!

Aggressive salesman for sometype of prepaid legal services--hung up on me after I asked which organization he worked for.

Just got a call from this idiot. He said he was involved in an accident and needed to talk with the lawyer. When I asked if I could help him he responded "you can help me by doing what I said and get the lawyer on the phone."  I told him that I screen all PI cases he became hostile and told me he would call someone else and slammed the phone down.

My experience was the same regarding Mr. Quinn.  After I told him that I would have to get some basic information prior to him speaking with an Attorney, he hung up on me.

Joe Quinn called and spoke with my assistant this morning.  Said he needed an attorney for "DWI...uh...I mean a car accident" and could he speak with [my boss's name].  When asked who referred him, he actually gave a name, Ron Stevens, who we have never heard of.  My assistant asked if he would like to speak with the associate attorney (me) and Joe replied "Did I ASK to speak with an associate!?!"

Assist just hung up at that point and then I searched the number online and ended up here.

This guy called me and said he needed an attorney. After I called him back, he tried selling me a legal referral website. His name is John Quinn. When I politely asked why he didn't mention this to me in the first place, he then said he had a DUI on his desk and that I should go f--k myself. If he ever calls, be sure to HANG UP AND RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!

I just took a call a Joe Quinn - 718-263-0126 ~ I asked him what he was calling regarding and he said a DUI.  I asked him if he is looking to retain the attorney and he said yes.  I said that I should schedule him for an appointment.  This is when his tone changed and he got rude. He said no you should have him call me.

The background sound of the phone call was a bit suspicious to me like it was a solicitation call so I google searched the phone # which brought me to this site.

I called Joe back and told him that I would be reporting his phone call and that he needs to remove our name & # from his call list.  Then I hung up on him.

"Joe Quinn" -- if that is is real name -- is probably pulling some type of scam.  He called my law office and left the telephone number of 718-263-0126.  His accent is that of an old-time Caucasian street thug.  

He claims to be an attorney, himself, which I find unlikely.  He was trying to sell some type of pay plan for unions that want to refer members to personal-injury and medical-malpractice attorneys.  He lied and said one of my clients referred him to me. He was then was rude and hung up on me when I rejected his sales pitch.

He just called our office twice.  Says he has a personal injury case, but he is merely trying to sell his website.  I wouldn't normally care besides the fact he is extremely ill-tempered, rude and by the sound of it, uneducated.  Someone should suggest anger management to this guy.
