Caller asked if he could speak to the person responsible for the National Grid (gas company) account. I hung up.

This person called and said they were from national grid....it's a scam, hopefully not stealing account info....I don't even have gas at my house.

this person called and then hung up.   I guess telemarketer wasn't happy enough with answer time.

That is so funny because they called me saying that they are from Con Edison Company. So are they from National Grid or ConEdison? SCAMERS????

they called our company also, she did not like when I told her I would have to talk to my accountant, then ask me again do I handle the account and why would I not want to save money,donot gave them tyour acc#

This person keeps calling about a natural gas bil...There has never been natural gas on the property this individual is calling about. I called back busy at first then just rings.

Called and left a message about my Duke energy account and gas savings. I don't even have gas at my office not to mention the call is from Brooklyn and I am in Ohio. So much for the do not call registry.

Called today claiming from City Power and Electric. I thought something was fishy but unfortunately gave them my account number. After saying yes to him I then I told the guy I was not interested and that I needed to get off the phone as it was my business line...hung up on him. Scammers.

I answer "Hello?"
Agressive jerk responds "I need to talk to the person that handels your Con Edison account!!"
I respond "Thank you for sharing your needs with me." and I hear nothing so then hang up.
These [***] keep calling saying they are going to save me money on my electric bill and even go as far as to say that they are Con Edison (which they are not).  The call using many different caller ID names and numbers, and clearly do not take me off of their list when requested.  When I have time I string them along asking all sorts of questions which usually culminate with them figuring out that I am just jerking them arround and they hang up... but I do it becuase it is fun and also beucase it means they are unable to make more calls as long as I have them...

Hi Anna, this is me not calling you back.  Thank you for leaving a message on my answering machine.  It is particularly thoughtful since I have asked your company numerous times not to call my home.  You must have gone out of your way to not heed my request.  Also than you for telling me about your needs (you need me to return your call).  Let me share with you my needs.  I need you to consider another line of work or to just cut to the chase and consider suicide.  This line of work adds no value to the world but since you have chosen such a worthless career I suppose you have already given up on life.  And since you have already given up on life why not just go ahead and kill yourself.  Nobody would miss you, particularly not those people who you are trying to scam into buying electricity from your company by lying about saving them money when in fact you charge more.  Oh, did I forget to mention that I think you should kill yourself?  Have a nice day.

I knew this caller was a scammer since she said she was from the National Grid which I know is a generic term.  Besides my building does not even have metered gas/electricity so when she told me it was about my account, I knew it was a scam artist.  

Anyway, to play along with her.  She told me it was about problems with my gas bill.  I thanked her profusely and said she called at a great time.  I had just eaten some burritos for lunch and had lots of excess gas.  Then she said "No sir, it's about your gas bill".  I said "Ma'am, don't worry about the bill as I understand that if I had excess gas from eating burritos that I should be charged.  Besides my roommates won't even talk to me anymore."  She kept on insisting that she wanted to talk about a gas bill and I kept on repeating that I had burritos for lunch.  I then offered to put the receiver next to my butt if she wanted proof of my excess gas.  She then hung up.  Don't think she'll call again.

they dialed my home and when I answered there was no response.

They called saying they were from City Power ( which is an ESCO), and that it was an urgent matter!!its just a hard sell/scam

They are not from ConEd...they ask for your ConEd account number to have access to your account and change providers...it is a scam

National Grid, wants to ask about a rebate they sent me, which doesn't exist.  Gave me their name number and extension and asked that I have my bill in front of me when I call back, which I won't.
