I don't know who the company is either, but when they called they said they were calling about my microsoft computer... and I have a Mac.

Please report theses call to the RCMPand they will give you a # to report these call.
If you do get a call tell them that you have call the RCMP and they will quickly remove your # and stop calling at lease for a year.

Received a call from 718 758 9741.

Caller was a rude sounding female.  Could barely understand her.  Something about a problem with my computer.

really they call you on Thanksgiving?!?! I blessed her ass out.

This number called me at 9:49 on jan 8th and said "I need you to turn on your computer because you have harmful files that need to be deleted" and i said who are you and they repeated the same thing and i was like WHO DO U WORK FOR annd they paused for a few seconds and said microsoft and i said its ridiculous youre calling at 10pm and they said we need to get rid of these files turn your computer on and ill walk you through the steps and i was like can u call at a decent time and they still repeated the same dang thing and i said im not doung this at this time and i said u have to call back. I knew this was a fraud i was just trying to see how long theyd keep this going for. The next night Got a call from this number 607-767-0115 at 11:36 pm on jan. 10, 2013 and i sure didnt answer.

Received a call from this number. I did not answer it and they did not leave a number. I have blocked the number from my phone.

But the google search resulted in a New York prefix. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. I tried to call back and it rang twice then a fax number picked up. Must be a pretty fancy payphone to have a fax answer it. Scammers,

I had a missed call off this number this morning at 09:53AM Sunday 11th Nov 2013.

I had the same person call ... When they call again.. I am going to answer the phone as a police station... 911 what is your emergency... ???   Hello... I notice you are calling out of state... We are sending cars to your location.. to help you in your emergency... sorry you are not able to hear me... or I you...  Stand  by..  officers are dispatched !..  THE END !  

I have received these calls from this number and other similar numbers for about a year.  I keep asking the man on the other end how his relationship is going with his goat...

they called me AND KNEW MY NAME (freaky) and they said something religious so i thought it was real, but now idk, and my family's creeped out

The number 7187589741 called me up and said that my computer was infected with a couple of files, then I put on.

Omg that is so weird! I received a phone call from this number too but nobody was talking, then I called, they picked up but didn't respond. Earlier today I had somebody chatting with me and telling me something about my computer too

This is a scam. watch out. don't give them anything.

I got a call from this number today. The man was indian. I lost my dog 3 days ago and he wanted me to give them $140 to canvas my area looking for my dog. I have no idea how they knew my dog was missing or why they thought they could extort money from me because of my grief but they were wrong.

At 5:02 pm CST on Tuesday July 29th 2014 I ignored a call from "unknown". Immediately there was another call, this time it said "Payphone" with the location of Brooklyn, NY. I'm near Chicago and don't know anyone who uses pay phones (nor lives in Brooklyn). I don't answer unknown numbers so cannot comment on their intent or alleged identity.
