I called the number. Rep said they are GSSB, an alternative to my local electric company. Website  is GetsSmartFightBack.com.  She agreed to put on their Do Not Call list.

This is the second call this week from some entity purporting to be a law firm (LLC).  THey di dnot leave a message; I didn't call back. One I received a call earlier this week from "Delta Volt,LLC" I called back and got a message saying "This telephone number has been confirmed. No other action is necessary."  I blocked the number and reported it, likewise today.  

I think this must be a way of gathering telephone numbers for their usage (vOIP?)

They called this morning.  Caller ID said "caller unknown".  I didn't anser, nor did they leave a message.  Hope they leave me alone!!

Been getting several phone calls this morning on my new land line from 1-718-764-0867. This is a brand new land line that almost nobody has the number for except close friends/family. We do not have voice mail, so I just let it ring until it stopped. Also got a call this morning from "unknown caller". I think my wife put us on a DO NOT CALL LIST, but still I'm getting these bogus calls. I'm hoping that if I don't pick up, they will pass me by or scratch me off their list of potential victims. I Googled the area code (718), and it says it's a Jamaica, Queens, NY area code.

They called my work number but did not leave a message.  After discovering they are apparently not a customer or vendor I added them to my contact list as JUNK.  I do this with all scammers telemarketers etc so I don't answer or have to bother googling their numbers it shows as JUNK is calling

Received a call from 718-764-0867, with reported called identified as "Vitelity".  I let the call go to voice mail, and I heard a woman saying, "Bring that back.  I need this paper."  Caller left no reason for calling and did not identify herself.
I would block this number, except I've reached my maxed call blocks.  Darn!

7187640867--> "Private Name" showed on call ID. I assume it's the electric company others have posted about previously. These companies are trying to be creative to get you to pick up the phone. After receiving several 'unknown caller' calls, 'private name' (I guess) is supposed to be more mysterious and enticing.

this 718-764-0867 is not a scam. they are energy supply companies helping everyone in New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut get a rate reduction and tax credit for their electric and/or gas bills. Alot of their call centers are right in Connecticut.

I picked up the ring and said hello.., and they hung up...

After 2 years of monitoring by 'jumpstart'.., a program that our power company provided.., that gave major reductions almost every day for those years.., I've cut my electricity use to 1/3 of what it was in the beginning...   I didn't have to fight back...  They came to me.   I'm saving lots more now than I would have by simply switching companies for a lower rate.   Would they have tried to lower my usage..?

Energy supply Co. Yea they want to lower your electric bill. Don't fall for it. They piggy back on your current energy co. and you get charged more. I had a call a few years ago from Hudson Energy claiming to save me tons of money on my gas and electric bill. I got hosed big time. Called the PSC and filed a claim against them. They were over charging me for my gas and electric. Got back $368 from Hudson Energy after the PSC got on their a$$. Don't fall for it !!!!

If you are on the DNC list, any company that calls your number is either a SCAM or does not scrub their call lists... which means they are a SCAM too, since call list scrubbing software can be obtained for free http://download.cnet.com/Call-List-Scrubber/3000-2064_4-10243637.html
