Person called my home landline without identifying himself at 8 pm Saturday and informed me that my computer "had a virus from the internet'. When I asked, "Who the hell is this?", he told me to ,"Mind my language" as I "speaking to a technician from Microsoft". I said, "Ooo Microsoft, in that case go f*** yourself". Reverse number info identified the number from a landline in Brooklyn, NY
Honestly, the cheek of some grifters!

I live in canada in province of quebec , i receive a call to say that my computer was full of virus and he want to help me to fix that .Don't give no info to these people .I ask to have his phone number , it was suppose to be a phone number from calfornia , but those people did know i suppose that it's so easy to find where the call was coming from .Don't give nothing to those people

They called me today.  This individual had a very heavy accent and reminded me of the people at my local asian market.  He told me he was calling from the US Goverment Deparmtent of Treasury.  I immediately told him not interested and he told me to shut the "f" up and they're going to come up to get me.  Needless to say I am now on my way to the local worthless police department...

OH...they also show as 210.824.0171 and variations on it.  Right now he's on the phone telling me he wants to "F" me and his name is chen.

I say bring it on!!! I'd love to meet these vermin in person, I got a little something that'll take care of them, thier families, and everyone that's got anything to do with this filth.

I got today call from the same # but no one talked.

I had several calls this weeks (from different phone no. not just this one) but like dewani, no one talked. They called about 4 or 5 times yesterday!

i got a call from the same number- (two guys with heavy accents)...it's a scam...they can barely speak english clearly enough to tell you what 'agency' they're supposed to be calling from....DON'T FALL FOR IT!

called my cell at 1:20 pm on 12/1/2011. when i called back they said the number was not in service?

u guys make me laugh!  this # called and told me to shut the "f" up because i was not buying his advertisement.

I received a call from this number at 7:00 am, that was fun, but I did some research and found out this is a pay phone in NY, and a scam,

Not sure how they got my number but it was someone with a thick accent and wanted me to get my RX meds from him at discount.  All he needed to know the RX numbers, oh and some personal information on how to charge me for them.  LIKE THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

Had a call from these people tonight.  It is clearly a boiler-room operation.  They claimed to be a Microsoft Certified Partner and the person wanted to do something with my computer because it was infected and crashing every day (it's not crashing and my anti-virus software is up to date).  His English was so bad I could barely understand him.  I didn't let him get very far.

BTW, I am in Canada.  This is cross-border fraud.

Called today, said he was calling about our "Microsoft Computer", said his name was 'Sam' (Indian accent). My wife answered, but when she gave me the phone and I asked the caller "Who is this?" he clammed up, and shortly thereafter hung up without talking to me. We're in Ontario, in case they're targeting specific areas.

Scam low-life (I'd have said "artist", but he wasn't even in that league).

No one on the phone....I think as first try.
Some time ago I worked with our police to jail some people from called Nigeria Connection.
This is all hot b...s... as you may understand. And it seems to have the same attitude. Anyhow everybody on this planet is giving or doing anything for free.
They want to rip you anyhow and anywhere.
Never call any personally unknown number back.
If there will one day any E.T. in our garden I will it give a next address... Mars or better Jupiter nice windy instead of wasting time on earth.

I got a call from that number today. but they just hang up. And i live in Denmark.

this # called my place at 5am saturday feb11 I was sleeping, but it woke up my kid. no message.

I received a call from this number today at 2:10pm here in Ottawa Canada.  I didn't answer the call.

Got a call from this number stating, "This is customer service for your Windows computer."

I said I don't have a Windows computer (especially since there is no such thing), and they said thank you, and hung up.

I wonder what the scam is.
