I am at my wits end and I am about to change my phone number.  This guy said that I have a lawsuit with New York Court and the plaintiff is James Nieman.  Who is this guy when he's at home?  These people that call are persistent and they remind me of school children.

they have been calling me nonstop too! i dont understand what to do or what this is? he is telling the same thing and now there is a number calling me from cali doing the same things!?  what do i do!?

They keep calling me on my cell phone and wont leave a message and when i call back it is a recording asking if i would like to take advantage of their special "promotion" but it wont say what that promo is...and the other day I entered 1 as prompted to be added to the do not call list yet they continue to call.

I received a call from 701-509-8523 (which is out of ND) to return a call to Officer Sam Watson of the Fraud Investigations Unit, NY Civil Court.  My name and soc # is on a lawsuit.  First red flag is a call from ND for NY Civil Court.  Second red flag is a guy with a thick Indian accent doesn't have a birth name of Sam Watson.  Out of curiousity, I google NY Civil Court.  You can search for any open or closed lawsuit by a persons name and choose either for plaintiff or defendent.  Zilch on the search.

I'm sick of this crap.  I received a similar call a few months ago different names and numbers for CA.  All the numbers when searched come up as bogus.

Ive been getting calls also. Stating that i have three civil lawsuits for fraud.  I called back and the same lady answered but gave me a different name. She always answered the phone as NY civil courts which the number for there is (212) 791-6000. So today i called and harrassed them. Finally it has stopped for today...

I received the same call from an officer from fraud investigations for new york, the caller id numer was 701-509-8523, but the  voice mail message that was left she used the 718 number. She had a very heavy indian accent

been getting these calls non stop saying I have a civil law suit. they even call me at my employment which is scary that they know where I work.i have a police investigation started.  The last message I had was harrassment and the man threatened me if I did not call back.  do not call these #'s back - file a police report.

I have been receiving these calls nonstop.  The lady I spoke with today actually started yelling at me and said if I paid $1050 today, that it would stop the lawsuits.  She then gave me my bank account #.  I called back the 7186549786 # at 3:30 PM PST which would be 6:30 PM New York and a guy answered saying New York Civil Court.  What court is open that late?  I am filing a complaint with the FBI.

Officer "SANDY BROWN" called for me today and left a message,  when I returned the call she was so upset to hear me laugh at her name.  I do honestly believe I offended HER.  This made me laugh even more.  I also did my best to inform her that here in our wonderful country, The United States of America a law exsits against impersonating officers.  I let her know since she was an officer of the law, she should already have knowledge of this.  Again, I think I offended her.  She started getting upset, and speaks the "f-word" fluently.  I of course praised her for her efforts to speak our language so well.  During this exchange of words I was not able to clearly understand much of anything else that she was attempting to say.  But at the conclusion of our conversation, I did my best to get HER address,  social security number,  and all financial account information.  Would you belive she hung-up on me?!

I have gotten calls from someone with a NY accent 22 times today so far. They keep saying I have a civil litigation against my name and social security number. They say to call back Peter Walsh. The scary part is that I had a friend request today from a guy named Peter Walsh from NY who I did not know, which I promptly marked as spam. Will they stop at nothing????? The police just laugh...so now what do I do? I am based in NH, have been to NYC once in my life. I am starting to get really pissed off.

This # 7189579786 has been calling me as well.  I thought if you signed up for Do Not Register people wont bother you.

they said they're calling from broadway insurance company, but the caller id says Allen's Food Store

These ppl are calling threatening saying there looking for jaquan that there gonna take house if i don't pay them saying there a bail bonds place i keep telling them i don't know that person and there yelling saying I'm.lying and they want there money

Thank God I have an iphone so I can easily block them. I did just that. I never answered because I have a policy "not to answer unfamiliar numbers".
