received a call from the above number threatening arrest.  he also called a reference i had listed on an original loan several years ago.  states names is CRAIG MILLER.  Area code is Colorado.

I have received several phone calls from a foreign man, threatening me of arrest if I don't pay a loan that has been closed for more than a year. He will & can not provide account # verification of the co. that filed the lawsuit. He said thathe was from Anderson & Son Law Office. He also called References i had on the old loan. This company is fake, please do not send them any money.

Claim to be "James Thomas" and "David Jones" but have Indian/Pakistani accents.  Abusive bill collectors who threatened to have police at my house tomorrow to arrest me.  I told them that if I want to hire a lawyer I need something in writing.

this is something that has been going on for a while now.   Hang up when they call and get in contact with IC3,  (type it in your search bar) they are the FBI for internet,   also  file a complaint with the FCC and FTC.  I want these harrassing calls to stop myself.  Good Luck!

I have received numerous calls from this number, threatening arrest.  This last one is from 719-315-0713, also from 760-501-0226 . This time it was the Law Office of Anderson & Son Law Office.  When I asked them what state they were in, they said California.  Living in Colorado, I know that 719 is a Colorado Springs prefix. Erik Watson was the initial person, transferred me to Kevin Harris, who had a foreign accent.  He threatened arrest tomorrow, will be kind of hard seeing how I am out of the country, very threatening, and since I filed Ch7 and had everything resolved, I have no issues with any debts from my past.

I have received hundreds of phone calls from  Mark Thomas,James Thomas,and David Jones all but one with a foreign accent all saying they worked for the law firm of Anderson and son.The phone numbers are as follows 719-315-0713,and 760-501-0226 when I try to return their calls they cant receive calls I get a recording.Today I received a call threatening jail time for check fraud and money laundering.So I immediately called a lawyer and they told me that it was a scam to try to get money out of me.I then filed a complaint with Ic3 I encourage everybody to do the same.Times are hard enough without pieces of trash like these.

I recieved a call at home and at work today, 719-315-0713...STEVEN BRYANT (mid-east accent -interesting!) told me a lawsuit has been filed against me and a warrant for my arrest also issued. Also wanted my attorneys name, address, ph #. WTH! I have done nothing wrong or illegal, always pay my bills...and this! Clearly it is a scam, as any moron should no that lawsuits aren't announced via a phone call. A sheriffs deputy will show up at your home or work if it is ligit. It is a little concerning that this is happening to alot of other people besides myself. We need to get these REAL dirtbags in jail where they belong. I just reported this to Ic3, so hopefuly this will go away soon.

Steven Bryant tells me that i'm being sued for money laundering and wire and check fraud. They have alot of my account information and my sisters infromation, along with my IP address. They refused to serve me papers and kept saying "i should know" when i asked when i supposedly took this payday loan that they are saying i didn't repay. They said i've moved and changed my number to "run from this" and if i do it again "i will be found". I applied for a payday loan online recently and i'm guessing this is where they got the information.

got this phone call this morning, i was threatened  with being arrested  for fraud , the weird thing is i dont have a checking . so i call my local sheriff dept. and they did a NCIC check with my name and dob. and there was nothing nation wide. I then tried to call back and they kept hanging up

Ok,  so I return the call from this person who tells me 'there's a lawsuit filed against your social security number' and whatever other garbage he mumbled.  I told him I'm not falling for your BS scam.. he says,  AND LET ME QUOTE THIS " You B*tch, go back to your momma's p*ssy"  I kid you not, that is what this man said to me.  Uh  REALLY??     Un-freakin-believable.

Got several calls from this number but he calls when I'm at work therefore I can't answer and he leaves threatening messages on my phone saying I need a lawyer does anyone know what this is about?

It is a scam. Ignore their calls, and do not worry about any legal troubles. They are not legitimate.

If they are a CA company & faking their number to show up as CO, contact the states attorney generals office. You can go online to their website for the CA or CO or the state you are currently living in and file a complaint on them. I got a call a few times from a dude with a Middle Eastern accent, & the dude actually said his name was John Mclain & making the same bs threats.  Didn't know Die Hard quit the cop business to setup a scam to con people out of money! I bet 10 to 1 if you file a complaint with the AG, you won't hear a peep from them again once they contact these frauds!

I have been getting calls from this man with a very thick language accent, threatening to do a law suit and demanding that I call back, he is also calling my work#. I have already involved the law enforcement in this matter, so anyone that is receiving these calls report it, and let legal take care of it, or sometimes you just might have to handle things yourself, take care of the matter.

I recieved a call today numerous times at my place of employment and cell phone stating I had 3 charges being filed against me and that I was going to be behind bars by tomorrow morning. They wanted my lawyers information. Scarey how threatning they were. Accent and  went by the name of Eric Watson. I have no loans. Contacted my local police department. They also had last 4 digits of my SS # my employer #

That is identical to what happened to me, Funny how this dirtbag can run his mouth over the phone. If he were face to face talking all this, I would have gone to jail for assault & battery guaranteed,  I heard from him once and once only, and have yet to be arrested or served anything. What a looser! You have nothing to worry about.

Got a vm and a message and my work and then they called my brothers phone.  When I returned the call the man with a Indian accent said he had an affadavit to read to me and not to interrupt him while he read it.  When he finished he said he had a few questions to ask me and when I refused and told him to send me the paperwork with the charges to my home address he hung up on me.  I tried several times after that to call them to get more info but the line would not connect.

I received a call telling me I had a payday loan unpaid.  I don't remember this told me I would be arrested if I didn't sent they $308 by 4 o'clock yesterday I was scared and sent it.  I got another call from them today want what they said was the remainging balance so I went to my local police department.  An officer called them and told them who he was and where he was and they hung up on him.  They said if I didn't sent the remainder of the money I would be arrested by 9 in the morning.  The officer told me they could not have me arrested if it was a true matter they would have to take me to court to get the money.  I have to tell you I feel like it is a scam but it scares me.  I don't want to be arrested.  If I have a loan out there I don't know about it and they wouldn't give me their companies name or any information about this.  I  have been praying to God to help me with this and get it over with.  so scared.

The one guy who talk to me first said his name was Eric then I talk to a Julian Marshall.  I hope someone puts a stop to this it worries me and scares me.
