Rang twice. Didn't leave a message. Caller id says Blanca, CO

Called at 9.25 AM today.Left no message. Cannot find who it was. Looks a scam

One ring only.  Caller ID says "COLORADO".  Maybe checking for in-service numbers?

719-379-8800 called at 09:59 a.m. today.  My captioning phone screen said, "Message is recording..."  I did not pick up.
Later check indicated caller kept line open for 20 seconds, but did not leave message.

They called gave a recording. Then Press 1 to speak to a live scam artist. While I was waiting I was ready and used another line to call and confirm the number. The number goes to a fake phone call error with a voice type recording that I have never heard from any other service. They want to save me money on my credit card bills and that I am preapproved. But they don't know who in the house they are talking to...Oh wait it is a scam and they don't care who...  Don't give them any real information but if you have time just screw with them. I also like to get soliciting calls that want to come out and give an estimate. I give them the address of the county jail lock up.

This is one of several scammers who call offering to lower your credit card rates.  First I ask what company they are with.  About half hang up on that question.  The rest will give you a song and dance about being with all the credit card companies.  

They use computer generated calls so there is no list you can be removed from.  I have quit asking.

Then I have fun.  

I ask the agent if they are a child molester, drug addict or prostitute as those are the only people who will work for identity thieves.  I can throw in a few more categories if I have time.  They cannot wait to get off the phone.

Called me twice today, I didn't pick up.

Same credit card scammer. Whenever I get a real person (scammer) is say "Blood is everywhere, but the job is done". Then I hang up.

I sometimes tell them that my cell batter is very low and can they please call me back on my land line, then I give them the number of my local US Senator or congressman.
