The scammers have moved onto another number!

Got a call today from "James" from the Hopkin's Law Firm.  The call is originating from Colorado Springs but there is not a Hopkin's Law Firm in Colorado Springs.  There is one in Arkansas and I called them and they are corporate attorneys.

Just FYI...these guys have moved onto a new number that is not associated with New York, New Jersey or anywhere on the East Coast.

Beware...they are not real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can't express this enough!!

They are not even close to real. This lady just called me and said she was calling from Hopkin's Law Firm. Told me I was being sued by a check cashing company because I hadn't paid them back. I have never gotten money through a check cashing company in my life! Beware of these people! They are scam artist!

Yes, I have been receiving calls from these ppl everyday! They get your number when you apply for a payday loan or if someone uses you as a reference for a payday loan... SMH! They won't get me! LOL!

i got a call today from a mr. rogers at hopkins law firm, he says i am being sued for 6,000 for a loan that i never got,says they have 3 criminal charges and will be getting a supeona for court, told me to get a lawyer that court would be next week. this is crazy! so these people are fake? kind of caught me off guard

These ppl had the courage to call me and tell me that I owed them money for a loan i never applied for or ever recieved! They called me at my office and left a message on my co workers phone. They had all of my information!! I couldn't believe it! Becareful of these individuals, they are fake. As soon as  I told them that I was in the military and would contact my bank as well as the JAG office about this matter, the guy practically hung up on me! Ridiculous! I've recieved a call about this matter before, and they did the same thing.

They CONTINUE to call me even though I have told them I know they are a scam, I am fine with them calling me since it takes away time from them calling people who might give them money. These guys are great, if call them back and they cannot answer it goes to their "Magic Jack" voice mail service. Even Better! Gotta love the morons that can't even scam right.

Ridiculous people.  When I called him back I wouldn't tell him my name and he didn't even tell me the same law firm name that he used on my voicemail. They call in groups. Basically every two months they change numbers and use the same people's information with different amounts of money and different companies. They are fake. They were supposed to come and arrest me two months ago. LOL I have been waiting every day for them to show up at my work.

Yeah I just got a call to day from an "OFFICER BROWN" same officer that called me a couple of months ago regarding a 300.00 debt with some loan company which i know wasn't true because i have never taken out a loan from any company. Before he was calling from a different company based in new york, now calling from a Colorado area code with the same name. I still have yet to see this " Legal Action" that was supposed to be taken against me. I guess the only part that bothered me was before when I spoke with this guy he wanted to verify my ss3 although he had all the numbers correct I told him it was wrong by 2 numbers. I told him to send me some verification, he said send me a payment and then he will send me a receipt all in all at the end the guy got made at me (because i made him frustrated on purpose I love playing with these people) and then hung up on me. That was 2 months ago, I guess they figured they would try again. Please Please beware of these scammers they ARE NOT REAL. At the most if you have a little time on your hands piss them off lol its actually funny.

HELLO! I came across this blog today and I have been getting threatning calls from an "Officer Brown" from a 719 area code number. He said if I do not take care of this matter he can only wish me luck in future actions in my state. WTF does this mean? Is this really a scam? HELP!!!!

He says i am being sued for 3,000 for a loan that i never paid. I have no idea what this is, this is a scam! Beware.

a couple of months ago I received a call from a Mr. Brown, because I would not verify any information and he would not answer any of mine, he got frustreated and said "fu" the. Yesterday I received a call from a different call from different number stating that I am being sued for a payday loan of which I don't have. He got frustrated and said i will be in legal trouble and hung up on me. I called him back and he said he did not want to talk to me anymore, he wanted to talk to my attorney.They caught me off guard this time, but I know its a scam. Thanks for everyones input, it really helps to know that you are not the only one.

Received a call from the above # saying it was Officer Austin Martin from Dept of Law & Investigation. Hopkins Law and do not disregard this message. I call back to be told I'm being sued from Cash Advance for non payment of $200.00. Proceeds to give me a case # and tell me I'm being recorded. Advised caller that I have never had a cash advance loan and that I was notifying my local police dept as well have reported this to FBI. I have rec'd numerous calls from this # and don't answer them. Today they left a voice mail msg of which they had not done prior.

Their new number they are calling from is 303-647-8136. They will not give an address! And do not speak good English, but say they are in Colorado. They want your credit card or debit card number. What a scam!!!

Yep. I got a call today from 303-647-8136 from the "Hopkins" law firm. The guy left a message. Definitely sounded foreign. It just sounds like such a scam. I have gotten calls from them before. They say dire things will happen if you don't call them back.

Newest number they called from is 818-643-1486  I know this is a scam because I have never received money from this company; In fact they CHARGED my account $30 when I needed money most and I if I didn't catch it at the time I would have overdrafted the bank account they charged..  I called a different number of theirs to get the money refunded (which surprisingly it was after about a week).  Now I just think they are pissed that I didn't take out a loan with them (what a surprise after charging me money BEFORE loaning me money, which as I said never happened...)  don't  worry about this. the likelihood of anyone being sued from this company is about equivalent with the likelihood that I'm superman.

I just got a call from this number today... I was so mad it wasn't even funny. I immediately called my bank to see if i got money from payday cash.. no such deposits... Mr. Anderson who said he was an attorney from Hopkins Law Firm got so mad at me he hung up the phone...

Got a call form the 303 number this AM. The guy started cussing me out left and right. I kept telling him that I couldn't understand his garbage. He got so mad at me and proceeded to hang out. I called the number back and they started yelling again. Do not worry about them, they are a joke. Just tell them that you have their "magic jack" phone system tracked and are going to report to the local authorities. If they call back, just mess with them. They get so mad very easily. Just be prepared to get cussed at.

just got a call from Hopkins Law firm that they are filing a suit against me and that they have all my information.  Scam Scam Scam

I received a message from a Mr. Andrews and  Gavin Rogers saying that I owe money from Pay Day Cash and that I have fraud on my checking account.  That I owe Pay Day Cash and that they cannot retrieve the money.  The number I received was 303-647-8136... Can someone stop these people...
