Yes, I know Nick Douglas real well. It is correct he is a convicted felon. Convicted twice in Ohio of Impersonating a police officer (Northwood & Toledo).  Theft by deception, Forgery (check) and credit card fraud.  He did used to be a security guard, but can no longer be one let alone own a company or carry a gun. Felon cant even have tasers.

He is still under post release control (out on parole) in ohio

A Toledo man appears to have forgotten an unwritten rule for wanna-be police officers: Don’t pull over any real cops.

And according to Perrysburg Municipal Court records, Nicholas C. Douglas, of 2442 Lawrence Ave. was still on probation for a previous impersonation conviction when he stopped and detained an off-duty Northwood police officer at the Woodville Mall last week.

Mr. Douglas was arrested Wednesday at his home by Toledo officers carrying a Northwood warrant charging him with impersonating a peace officer. Following a preliminary hearing yesterday in Perrysburg Municipal Court, the case was continued until Feb. 20. Mr. Douglas has been released on $2,500 bond.

Sgt. Ken Campbell, a Northwood detective, said off-duty Officer Michael J. Wilkinson entered mall property while test-driving a vehicle on the evening of Jan. 30. Mr. Douglas pulled him over with several aggressive driving maneuvers, questioned him, and told him he was trespassing on mall property and would be arrested if he did not leave.

While Mr. Douglas did not specifically claim to be a police officer during the incident, his actions - including stopping and questioning the off-duty officer - constitute impersonation, Sergeant Campbell said.

Northwood police hope to speak with other people Mr. Douglas may have pulled over, threatened, or otherwise accosted, the sergeant said. Police have spoken with one woman whom he allegedly ticketed, and have received witness reports of other patrol stops Mr. Douglas is accused of making, he said.

On July 25, 2002, Mr. Douglas pleaded no contest in to an impersonation complaint from Perrysburg Township police. He received a suspended 90-day jail sentence and two years’ probation. The township police did not respond to a request for further details about that case.

Mr. Wilkinson said he did not identify himself to Mr. Douglas as a police officer because he had heard about the previous encounters and wanted to see what Mr. Douglas would do.

"I just let him dig a deeper hole the more he talked," the officer said.

According to Officer Wilkinson’s subsequent report, Mr. Douglas was operating a black Chevrolet Lumina marked "Public Safety" on the doors and "Chief Enforcement Agent" and "Community Response Unit" on the fenders, according to Officer Wilkinson’s report. The car was equipped with red strobe lights in its taillights, white strobes in its headlights, and a blinking green light near its visor, the officer said.

Mr. Douglas claimed first to "work for the state of Ohio," then later said he was working on behalf of mall tenants, though not for the mall itself.

Hey to all about this Douglas guy.  I think most of us are recenlty seperated Veterans.  Why he choose to target us, i have no idea.  The facts are real! He is a convicted FELON. He's done this a lot, and actually he's on parole in the state of Ohio.  He promises a great job, takes your money, and that's that.  I've done a TON of research about this guy. Sucks though huh? sounds like a dream job... Anyway this is what i did, he didnt get me for my money. I did however email the Toleto Ohio police department with all the information, website, promises, the 1500 as a sign on bonus, and the 800 inital fee for the training.  I asked them to email me back so i know what's going on. Do the same!

It's not slander, Nick, if it's true. Your Criminal Record is a matter of public record. No need to be an investigator to find out. You are not licensed by any state. Your parole officer may just be getting a call. That's revocation. Remember what the judge told you? You can get half of your original sentence handed to you for this violation plus operating without a license and god help you if you have any weapons. Try to stay out of trouble, try to find another line of work. In a short 20 years you will be able to work this field again as long as you stay outta trouble....Godd luck to you nick.

Wow! I am a retire police officer currently looking for work when I came across this. I am familiar with Mr. Douglas. I met him while applying @ a (currently closed down) mall. scam scam i did computer work for this Mr Douglas and was told he would pay me on Monday well 2 weeks later no money but he has the nerve to call me and accuse me of first taking stuff out his computer then changed his story to i didn't put what i said i did on the computer he is just a scam DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM SCAM SCAM SCAM

I just can belive that you people believe in such a big crap provided by anyone the first place. If someone sounds fishy (whoever called me did) I never do any job without credit card authorization. This guy who called me said: "My company is set for direct bill only. Render service and I'll send you a check". Yeah right! Keep dreaming fella. Anyway, I sent him away. I hear these stories 5 times a day.

Ok, so you say you are legit.  Let's see...you have an office in Denver, with no number available at the address.  You have an office in Colorado Springs, and again, I just verified with the leasing company that no such business is located there. And there is no 11th floor.  Your office in Minnespolis, MN
is also non existant...so where is it that you really work???  Oh ya, and I also called the secretary of states office in Colorado, and anyone can e-file
the paperwork to register a business in that state.  No verification of facts are investigated by the SOS office, therefore, anyone can register a business and not be legit. Oh ya, and the address you listed for a home address? You never lived there either.  As for Lisa Martin, that is a joke.  I also called that business and no such person exists....and they have never heard of you.  So....let's see who is smarter, you or me.

Good Job Angel!  Mr. Douglas is also currently under felony indictment for telecommunications fraud. Felony 5.  Which means he will be in prison again real soon, not only for the current felony charge & theft, but also parole violations.
