Called Id says "Breast Cancer Society," no message.

Female caller gave a rendition of calling from a Brest Cancer Soceity and wants me to send a little something to them.  I listened and after she was done speaking, I dropped the phone and called it back to check legitimacy but I could not get any one.  The line answering system had some words about "press any key to be taken off the list."  I tried calling it a few times and gave up.  Of course, I am compassionate and would like to give even one dollar for such a good course if it were genuine.

Sara called from the above number wanting a donation stating it was for breast cancer. My husband's reply was "all our money goes to pay for my lung cancer treatments not covered by insurance". She became very rude, insulting and hung up on him. Compassion would have been nice.

My standard answer is I NEVER give to anyone over the phone.....period

Then I hung up.

Caller ID reads: "Breast Cancer Society." I do not answer these calls. I am a breast cancer survivor, and I don't believe this is a legitimate company or charity. This should be reported to the BBB. The caller rang 3 times, left no message, hung-up. I don't trust any "no message" call.
