Claimed to be Gretchen Harper a recruiter. Said she got my name from someone (but didn't say who) and wanted me to call her about a job. Didn't say what company she was working for.

I received the same voice message.  Who is she?

Same call for me in June 2009, so it appears she is still at it.

Same exact thing happened here. Gretchen Harper called and said the same stuff as the first posting. Scam? Most likely. Got my name "recomended" by someone...

No company name, line of work, or other details.

Got this same call yesterday.  I like the part where she says someone "recommended me".  By whom?  She did not say.  Sounds fishy to me!

She said she works for Citigroup and was recruiting for training jobs regarding teaching people about money.  (VERY vague), but invited me to a career seminar down at the Citigroup office by Centennial Airport.  She said the earnings could range from 40-70K dependent upon merit.  I declined, simply because I found it suspicious to be called regarding a lucrative career.

A message was left on our voicemail that Gretchen Harper got my name from a friend. She is a local recruiter and her company is looking for "part" or full time managment positions. It sounds like a multi-level marketing play or possibly a scam to me.

Same person named Gretchen.  No Company name, no name of who recommended me.  Most recruiters leave the name of their company and position info.

Exact same story goes for me.

Congratulations peeps....you've all been contacted by a woman who probably got your card out of a fish bowl in a restruant. ( she takes them where she finds them) and tells people she was referred by a friend.  She is vague because it is an MLM, named primarica, a branch of citigroup.  She is not telling you the truth, you will never make anything like that and will probable lose what you do have including your time....stay miles away...
