Called looking for my son. has not lived here for12 years

This number has been calling my husband's business & at my place of work. Would like to know who they are and what they want.

Alex calls and hails from Boulder, Colorado. Its a rogue debt collection company. We do not owe debts to anyone.

I got called from that # twice this week. I let voicemail pick up each time: The caller, a male with a generic USA accent, asked for a person not in this household (or anywhere near it) in reference to "a debt."  It's a scam; there are many such phone "collection" scams. NEVER talk to these thieves: They don't care what your name is: They're looking for nervous, scam-naive people who'll pick up the phone. They then use various "shakedown" tactics to get said naive person to pay x amount. If you haven't already, get your # on the federal Do Not Call registry. Once approved, you can report any nuisance calls on the DNC website..

I got a phone call from this number and voice mail, but no idea what the company is (ARC) and I've never done business with anyone at this business or location.

Well,by taking the time to read the other posts I found out that it is a debt collector.
