Monitronics home security telemarketer with a real sounding automated intro. If you answer the intro questions with names of fruit they will hang up on you. If you answer with real answers then you get to speak to a rep. When they ask how many exterior doors need to be monitored and you say 7 they will hang up on you. Hey Monitronics, your marketing company sucks! But then I'd never buy from a company that uses your type of marketing.

I have been getting calls from their automated system for more than a month now even though I have requested that they add me to the DO NOT CALL list, tried to call their offices to file a formal complaint, waited on hold for 20 minutes for someone to answer, no answer.

Home Security CRAP. How can we stop these phone calls? I keep blocking them, but they just show up under a different number. First in Oregon, now from Colorado. Ridiculous.

It is easy to get on their do not call list. Put you name and ALL the numbers you have on the FED's do not call list. IT takes ONE month. After that if you get calls from sales companies tell them you are on a do not call list... or select the do not call option. IF they call you again after a certain amount of time go to the government web site report them and they will get fine and YOU get paid.

They called about a free security system if I put a sign in my yard. (didn't catch the name of the company)
They're looking for homeowners and when I said I wasn't, they quickly said bye and hung-up abruptly.
Calling back only gives me an automated message to take me off their list.

I am on the national do not call list.  Still for days now I've been getting calls from this Colorado number to my Virginia phone number claiming they are doing free security estimates in my Oregon neighborhood.
When I asked where they got my number they hung up on me.

oh he's real alright he call at 8:25 pm and said something elec. After I said hello 3 times he said how are you today I told him I was trying to eat and would like to be left alone. He smarted off and said Well Alright slammed the phone down. I'm in Texas I'm not buy crap from Co.

Really annoying to get a phone call that wakes you up and then as you answer they hang up. Wish i could push a button to zap their computer !

What you do is highlight the caller on your phone, then hold the power button on it for 20 seconds. It will stop that call from making a noise when they call. It will stop the sound of them calling when you're sleeping. Hope this helps. Please reply.

They call my house literally a dozen times a day. How can i report harassment charges

Sick of these people calling me 100 times a month asking me to have a security system installed if I put up a free sign, I said no over and over, I called back and requested my number to be removed, I even spoke to a lady who said my number would be removed, its been about 4 months now and I keep getting calls.  And if you say something to them about it they hang up right away on you.

This is a pernicious one.  Over the years, what I have learned is that you need to go along with it, and make an appointment for them to come to your house.  When they call back to complain you weren't home, claim you took off work to meet them, and reschedule for them to come on the weekend.  It seems the only way to get the message across that they are barking up the wrong tree.  Oh, whatever you do, insist that you really want the home security system.  In the end, they will admit that they are not allowed to make sales in your state (or some excuse), and you can ask for a referral to a company that sell you what you want.  Obviously, you need to pay in cash, so they need to get their sales person to the right address at the right time.

"State Street?  I said State Avenue.  What is wrong with your installation specialist, can they not read street signs?"

"Noon?  I said lunch, since when is lunch at noon?  I had to get back to work again."

Got two calls today at 4:12 & 6:30pm on my cell phone from these people (this company) I don't even know how they got my #!  All I know is that I'll be blocking them!

Robot calls 3-4 times every day. Tried to sell security system.
