Called this afternoon,  left no message. Caller ID said from Darlington, PA

Called at 11:10, left no message

would love for them to call me and tell where they are so we can meet in person.  I have asked these SOB's to stop calling me on my cell.  Something about a credit card and hell I don't even have one

Calling about "your current credit card" to "Lower my interest rate".  Automated but pressed 1 to reach a live agent.  Asked to be removed from phone list.  They said they did, but I think they just hung up.

Don't know anyone from this number. They did not leave a message and just hung up.

Called twice in a row on my cell phone and left no message. Called was from PA, USA. Since reading these comments, I blocked the number on my iphone so they can't call again. I am also on the Do Not Call list but they got through anyway.

Tried to call me just now. 4 times in a row, almost seamless. Didn't answer any of them.

They called and no one said anything when I answered.

I don't know why people on these forums expect criminals to abide by law such and honor their requests to be removed from their lists, that's just a bit naive, wouldn't you say?  Having said that.  Use common sense.  Don't give out personal information over the phone.  If you don't recognize the caller?  DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!  If it's important and legit, the caller will leave a message.  Otherwise, don't waste your time and energy.  Law enforcement can't do s**t about these scams.  Most of them are based out-of-the-country where US Law Enforcement has no jurisdiction.  Undoubtedly, most of these scammers are using throw-away Google Voice or other VOIP-based, disposable phone numbers.

it's an old auto dialer, the in port is closed it will bounce you to the no longer in service, but the outbound is still working- it's probably somewhere in a storage unit connected to an old hard line, as long as it still has a terminal it can place calls but not receive them.

Stated they were card services and could lower my credit card rates. When asked what card they were servicing, they started they worked with all visa/mastercard using banks. When pressed for a specific company, the caller said "Oh." and hung up on me.

THESE [***] ALWAYS CALL ME .. I HAVE HAD THREE CALLS IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND I JUST MESS WIWTH THEM THEY GET PISSED AND HANG UP. ONE GUY THREATENED ME SAYING IF I CALL BACK HE WILL SUE ME!!!  'OH OKAY [***]' AND THEN I HANG UP !!!!

Got a call from this company, this is a scam artist who calls to try and get your credit information by offering you 'lower interest rates because you have been making your payments on time...' When asked to give company information and where they got my phone number they promptly hung up.
