This company has been calling my business number several times a day. I never answer and they never leave a message, but I’ve found their info as:

USPS lists this address as “may be non-deliverable” so it may just be a mail drop or fake address.

File a complaint with the Florida Attorney General (1-866-966-7226), then get even. }:-?

Thank you for the information Faith. They have been calling my business also for the past three weeks also. Very annoying! Its amazing how they are willing to be such a nuance to so many to just  find the few (if any) who are interested in their crap! For the record they also call me from another number, it's 727-251-4566. Thanks again. Would love to crash their party!!! "A company called the, Energy Conservation Group has been harassing my family for several weeks now with Pre-Recorded phone messages from different phone lines.  Using “Robo-Call” techniques, (pre-recorded messages and automated dialing machines) for telemarketing is illegal in the state of Florida.  They are breaking the law and making families miserable.  Please help me take action to stop these criminals.  If you are getting these calls; please, don’t just sit there and take it.  Take action and be heard.  No government agencies will act until enough people complain.

*  Note.  Make sure you clearly identify in each complaint that they are contacting you, “illegally using Pre-Recorded messages“.

1.  Contact the Florida Division of Consumer Services and file a formal complaint.

You do not need to be on the Florida Do-Not-Call List to file the complaint.  You will need the phone numbers the Energy Conservation Group used to call you.  File a separate complaint against each phone number they used.

2.  Contact the Florida Attorney General’s office and file a formal complaint.  The Attorney General’s office informed me that the State of Florida will not take legal action until enough citizens complain.  As of 2 June 2010, they had 11 complaints against this company.

3.  Call your local Police Department and file a formal complaint.  Remember, they are violating the law and should be held accountable.  They will not stop until forced to.

These are bad people, please report them.  They want access to you and your home.  They will not provide you with a return phone number or address.  They will not tell you of their real intent on gaining access to your home.  

-  The Energy Conservation Group is not registered as a legal company in the State of Florida according to the Department of State Division of Corporations.

-  They are not listed with the phone company or identified in the Yellow pages.

-  They are not associated with the Florida Department of Energy, the Governor’s Energy Office or any government agency.

Let’s take action and stop them NOW!"

I ran a sting operation to find out who was behind this.  I pressed one and setup an appointment.  The person they sent didn't have any ID, but he was frightened enough by my video camera and questions that he agreed to give me some information.  The company he represented is:

They are running the KVAR device scam.  The KVAR device will NOT save homeowners on their power bill.

Calls upon calls...never answer...they do not leave a message.

They also call from 727-254-3985, 727-251-4566 and 727-251-6604. I played their game and pressed 1 to talk to an associate and they answered the phone saying they are "Power Savers Associates". Caller ID just shows "unknown name" with the number.

Just got another call... 727-254-3647 Same ole Crap!!!

I, too received several calls a day from 727-254-3647, and I did not answer as I don't answer when I do not recognize the number, so I reverse traced the call and got the name "Pamela Nuzum".  I then called the number to ask why they are calling me and I continually got a recording: "Leave a voice mail for 727-254-3647. Mail box full." So I gave up.  But now, I am having trouble with VirginMobile posting a top up phone card PIN number to my cell phone and the company tells me that the PIN number is blocked.  They cannot seem to figure out what is going on, and I am wondering if  by calling the Nuzum number, that they accessed my cell phone account through my cell phone number and intercepted the phone card minute pack and now I'm out $30.00 on my VISA card.  It's just a theory. What is going on???. Don't feel bad, guys, I'm an attorney and this is scary.  My mother called the 254 number from her cell phone and noticed an extra $15.00 phone charge on her Discover card.
