I received 3 phone calls in less than 5 minutes from this number. I answered the first two and no one was there, it was just empty silence. The third time I rejected the call and a voice mail was left. Their is static and background noise. Then it gets very quiet and a voice you can barely hear, in an accent so thick you can only make out a few words says they want to speak to me about ? "Your name" and gives a call back number. Very tiresome and harassing to be called so many times so close together and not have anyone actually speak until they get voice mail. Not to mention uses up valuable rate plan time on my phone!

They called me and told me I owed the IRS and the police would arrest me that afternoon. I called them back and they had a specific amount I owed the IRS from 2009. I said it was strange that I did not receive anything from IRS and he said they do not send letters only a Public Document demanding payment. Yeah, okay. I do not owe IRS anything, but I said I wanted to pay it right now. They said I could not pay it all up front, but I could make payment arrangements and that I needed to speak to another department.. After much noise another man got on phone and when I said I wanted to clear this up right now and pay, he hung up. I called back and the recording said "The MagicJack customer's line is busy. I kept calling until I got someone and asked who this was and he said "who is this" and after 2 for 3 more of this back and forth, he said the legal department of US Treasury. I said it's strange that the US Treasury has to use MagicJack and he hung up.

My mother got a call from this # today and they said they were investigating her for fraud and the police would be coming to arrest her.  Then then told her they had an attorney. She told them great she had one too.  They had her so upset I had to tell her to hang up the phone before her blood pressure went thru the roof... Seriously this is pure BS.
