Recorded message claiming to be calling on a "federal enforcement action". Obviously a scam. Just the latest spoofed number being used.

Received the same recorded message about 10:30AM today in PA.  Guess they are making their rounds...

I received the same message and also last week from a number in New York. It's getting annoying

Called stating that you have an issue and used the word magistrate. Never asked for any particular person. Nor did the male voice leave a name. SCAM!!

Same scam as reported by others here. A voice mail left on my landline phone. It claims to be from the US Treasury, and threatens me with a required appearance before a magistrate or a grand jury if I don't return the call to the same number. I have a clear recording of the call (made at 2:21 est on 2/2/2016), which I'll be delighted to provide to anyone willing to enforce the law against this kind of thing. I called back and they answer the phone as US Treasurary,,when they said there was a judgment against me I said I doubt it and then they hung up

I got this same message from a guy called Dennis Gray.  11:08 AM Thursday, Feb. 2nd

Same here in pa.  I called back and told them to go [***] off scammer.

Just got a call from Dennis Gray....pretty sure that's not his real name since had a middle eastern accent

I just got home at 5 pm. Got the call from Dennis Gray at 4:35 on my machine. Very threatening to say the least. I called back looking for an answering machine but no one answered . That convinced me that it was a scam. iF it was lagit call there would have been a message  when I called back telling me office hours that they could be reached etc.

Federal enforcement action... Could not understand the message , it's obvious he his from a foreign country.

We have gotten 6 calls in the last 2 days with this recorded message.  Complete scam. They don't identify who they are calling for.

We got this message on two different (non-consercutive) phone numbers in our household. Horrible.

This was a threatening phone call!

What a Scam, I call them back just so I can scan them back, but always no answer not even a voice message.

Same experience as others have already reported. The recording on my answering machine repeated 3 times. "Dennis Gray" was the name. Voice sounded like Singapore or Hong Kong to me (British with a Chinese overlay, in other words).

Called to collect unpaid income taxes.   Have difficulty understanding his foreign accent

Received recorded message from 727-450-8939. Person leaving message had foreign accent & was not completely understandable. "Action executed by the US Treasure impending your.... Ignoring this would be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury for a Federal criminal offense. My number is 727-450-8939.I advise you to cooperate with us to help us to help you."
