Katrina called said she worked for Pain Relief Center and wanted data from me so she could align me with the correct FDA approved pain cream...they have 4 or 5 available at no cost to me if I gave her personal data.  AHHHHHHHH no! Put me on your do not call list!

Same here. Robocall invited me to stay on the line and sign up for pain relief cream.

I got calls today (8/21/14) alone.  It is nauseating.   I let the call go to voice mail and they never leaving a message

This number called my mom this morning saying the same exact stuff you guys are saying, and they wanted her insurance card. My mother is a registered nurse and knew that all of this was a scam, so we played along for fun. This has been happening to us a lot lately, but are different scams, and different ID called numbers. We did research on it, and what we found out is that these scam companies are stealing peoples ID caller numbers without their consent, and scamming people under that number, so if you call back what is on the ID caller, you will end up calling a poor elderly citizen who knows nothing about what you're talking about.

Nice Nigerian lady from Tampa wanted to sell me cream for pain. Just wanted SS#, Insurance #, Age, banking info and a short survey to find out everything about me to help me. Would send me the healing cream blessed by the pope Federal Express. Wow. Holy smokes. I smell a scam and crooks. And Obama is after ISIS. There are right here in Tampa FL selling cream. Time to bomb them.  

Got this one today as well. I have an OOMA system so I just blocked the number. With VoIP calling it really doesn't matter if you are on the DNC list or not. Most of these scumbags are located in some place other than the U.S. and they spoof legitimate numbers to try and get you to answer.

I just rcvd the call.   Is there any feeling they are taking the #'s off of Craigslist, to start the scam?
 

Got called this morning. Caller ID was Charles K Fried. I picked up only because I was working with contractors on a remodel and didn't want to miss an important call. It was recorded and, reading the other posts, obviously a scam.

I have found, asking if they can hold on for a moment while I get my purse, etc........ then I blow a loud whistle into the phone before slamming down the receiver --- so far they only call once -- that's not to say someone else doesn't try it, but now it's more fun ! of course I only do this to repeat callers that don't take "no" for an answer or idiots that won't leave a message on a machine, but seem to know your name if you answer!
