I just received 3 phone calls over the last 4 hours with someone finally leaving me a voice message to contact them over a personal matter with my macy's visa account and told me to call them back at their 1-800 number... hmm

It's Macy's credit department

I have recieved three calls from this number since 8:36 this morning.  If from what I am reading is true, that it is from Macy's, then I know they have the wrong number/person.  We moved about 5 months ago and the number we were assigned evidently belonged to a guy that owes a lot of people money.  I answered numbers I didn't know when we first got the number but after a few calls from collectors looking for Jim Somebody, I stopped answering them.
Now I just report it to the National DO NOT Call Registry.  If you don't owe Macy's any money, make sure your number is on the No Call list and then report them every time they call.  It COSTS THEM 1000$ every time they call and you report it!

Be very careful giving info to this number 678-556-5772.  I have an acct with them, have had it for 15 years never missed a payment always on time.  They are saying the are a collection agency collecting on behalf of Macy's.  Be very careful.

Endless calls from this number that is obviously from a different area code that I don't know. I don't pick up numbers I don't recognize but they call at least 3 or 4 times a day even as late at 10:30pm. It's 727-556-5772. Who are they?

these people are calling my phone but not leaving a message. i tried calling back but it seems like i was redirected to a support center in india. i don't know what this business is or what they want.

This number called 3 times ... 3rd time we were actually home.  Said he was from Macy's and that my bill was a month past due, but it wasn't ...it was current ... wanted me to make a payment over the phone, but I told him I would handle it directly as Macy's ...

I have been receiving these calls for two days (2-3 times aday).  I don't answer unknow numbers.  If this is in fact Macy's I have never had credit with them and don't ever intend to.  Hope they stop soon.

I keep getting a call from 727-556-5772. I dont know who it is or what they want.

Add me to the list.  I told them that that my cell is a fire dept line and he should stop calling.  He asked for Diane.  I took the suggestion below and put the call ring tone in as quiet.  Hopefully it won't happen again.

They've been calling me several times a day for the past couple days. I don't owe any money & they are calling my cell #.

Have received 3 calls on a cell phone in the last three days from this number.  When answered the line is silent.  I hang up. The last call was 20 minutes ago (01/14/2008 @ 10: 20 AM)  I let it go into voice mail.  No message was left.

I do not have a Macy's account. Never have had one.  No one I know has one.

Something wrong here - would not return call or answer call - on message say they are from Macy's - Macy's may or maynot be involved - had unsolicited credit card supposedly sent from Macy's to replace current card - unable to contact Macy's security - got run around there to track where card originated - very bad rap for Macy's I won't shop there anymore

Same BS as above, numerous calls at all times of day asking for me by first name. If you *69 it's unreacahable. Called this PM and got some kid with others screaming in the background. He said it was a cell and he often got odd phone calls, he denied knowing anything about FACS and said he had no idea when a grownup would be around. After reading through others' reports here I called back and got some BS-sounding on-hold message. Finally got through and, after denying that he knew anything about the calls on my caller ID, he tried to tell me that it had to do with my Macy's card-- never had one in my whole life-- well how about Marshall Field? Nope. So I told him his number is all over Google, that he's full of it, that I am on the do not call registry, was going to report him to the AG in FL and that I am a lawyer and will make this life miserable.

I am so glad I'm not alone.  They are driving me crazy calling and I'm not the person they're asking for.  Nothing on my credit report has anything to do with the company or companies they claim to represent.

I have received several calls from this # in the last two days.  No message left on my voice mail.  I do have a Macy's account, but it is current.  Thankfully I can program my phone to reject the calls.  Amen for technology!

Consistent calling

Get calls from this number all the time and just did today.  Frustrating!  Especially since I heard Rod Steward to a remake of John Waite's "I Ain't Missing You!"  That sucked, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
