Caller ID shows "SSI" - rec'd multiple calls at various times for past couple of weeks.  "SSI" also comes up under 727-755-7497, 727-755-7282, and 727-748-4432.  Doesn't leave message.

First off, if I am already on the national no call list I shouldn't have to inform them that I want to be on their no contact list. If they would follow the law they would realize I am already on everyone's "no contact" list.

And to reply to any survey call with your phone number is just plain dumb. Then those wonderful people now know that particular number is active and can sell it to 1000 other pain-in-the-ass survey callers and telemarketers.

The caller ID says: SSI (not social security). The company is : Survey  Sampling, International. The survey is political - asking if the householder is  going to vote in the Florida Nov. Election. They have called here late at night
(after 9pm). Other numbers that they have used: 727-755-7282 and  727-748-4432.

Why should those who are on the National DNC list as well as pay for a non-published number have to contact your company who's company, by whatever means, didn't bother to compare against the NDNCL? Instead, like all calls like this, a complaint to the FCC is being filed shortly.

Called me at 9:30 pm last night with a recording. Silly me, I picked up as it was a local number. This may help you.
Please DO NOT try to call their phone number to be taken off their call list. It will not happen, in fact, it will only cause more unwanted calls because they will know that you are home. And DO NOT go to their website www.surveysampling.com and hit the "opt out" tab. This is a total scam. It asks you for your PC password (so they'll know it's really you). A very realistic Microsoft page pops up. Beware ! Never give out your password. DUH.
Instead, go to www.whois.com, copy and paste in their website "surveysampling.com" in the "whois' box. Since they registered their domain name, this is public information. It lists their complete information, address, phone numbers, admin personnel, etc. Would love to call them and harass them, unfortunately, it is listed in the UK.

Called me twice. When I answered there was silence. I felt like I was being hacked or something. After there was no answer to my hello? hello? I hung up the phone and looked them up on the internet and found this site. I am on the national DNCL and they continue to call.

Called both my landline phones tonight.

Called me this (sunday) afternoon asking about my Comcast account and why I canceled it. I told them I'm not interested in talking and to remove me from their list. I'm not really sure if that's considered a survey, but it's definitely a scam.

Came up as SSI on caller ID. Did not leave a message.    I have a strict policy of not answering if I don't know who's calling and the greeting on the machine says just that. I don't answer if I don't know who you are, leave a message.  No warm, fuzzy greeting, like "hi, you've reached...."  You have to make your point quickly because they hang up as soon as they know it's a machine.  I used to report numbers to the "do not call" people but they're useless.  They only way it will stop, is when we all quit answering the phone.

got a call from this person, who didn't speak "good Heenglish"... political call...she said "it would be short".. after 15 minutes, I said... times up... and hung up... the same number called again 2 hours later. the lady said that she wanted to finish the call. I said I didn't want to an hung up again. pain in the BUTT...

This is a VPN user and as in what I found out the user is located over in India spoofing numbers, this number I have received multiple calls from, some of these calls from this number instates they are a debt collection agency (real live people that are Indian) and the other times its either a robot instating I have an expiring care insurance plan and wants me to renew it (I do not own a car or insurance for a car) or that I won a $500- $1,000 gift care from some random corporate industry like WalMart or Target and then a few times it's just dead silent. This number has called me for about 3 years now.
