Douglas R White Electrical Contractors - 508-881-3052 - I wish I had done this search last night, because I just got off the phone with a guy calling himself Bill Wilmington and stating that he was the owner of the company.  He flat out denied calling me.  Some folks have no idea as to the havok they cause by their actions.  

I answer emergency calls and happened to respond to his call. Thank God no one was physically hurt during the response. When dealing with electricity and power alot can go wrong. When a call comes into this electricians dispatch office people act IMMIDIATELY - Luckily there are people who act on the trust that human safety and loss of property is still important.  It turns out their building was fine and the people around it were fine.

As a small business person I cannot afford to be taken advantage of by people without consience or regard to consequenses of their actions.  This is truely pittiful and disturbing.

I don't know if their buisness is a scam or not but in my experienced opinion the guys running it are at the bottom side of shifty.

In addition to the law enforcement agency’s I am also reporting you and your business to the Federal Trade Commission and your states attorney general as well as the Better Business Bureau.

I still need to do some follow up work on your end. Some folks will be stopping in to see you at your office to complete this incident report. If you want, I will let the local inspector know about the other internal electrical issues you are having, as you told me on the phone. He can point you in the right direction as far as that is concerned. I will do that for free if we can just simply resolve this.


Im not sure if you are just kidding and trying to get out of paying for this order or what you are trying to pull, but I performed my job to the best of my ability. I always do.
You can contact who ever you want if you think I have treated you unfair. I have contacted the proper authorities on my end which is Progress Energy to let them know to check the locks and reseal your meter.


I am glad it was a false alarm, but I am beginning to regret helping you out.

As per our telephone conversation I am delivering your invoice via email as the hard copy went out in regular mail before we spoke.


I am extremely sorry if you misunderstood how my company operates. I stated to you during our discussion that we respond to ALL calls in the same mannor. We ensure the safety of people and propery. If you call me then I have an obligation to do what it takes to keep you and your home, or in this case your office, safe.


I have thousands of clients who rely and depend on my service. I pride myself in my dependability, I accepted your call and acted in the same spirit as I do all calls. My customers are are vigalant against losses from fire or electrocution. If someone says there is a problem by calling my emergency number after hours, there IS a problem as far as I am concerned. Untill I find out otherwise then I am going to protect you and what is yours.


If there was some miscommunication as you indicated it was not on my end. You called us, which set into motion actions which we assumed to be life threatening. I called numerous times as the night went on. Once I was satisfied that everything was ok, I went to bed. I called you as soon as I woke up to check in.


After our discussion this morning I was curious to figure out what happened and why you sounded so confused. I found out that you are the responsible party of a telemarketing operation of sorts. I was extremely appauled when you suggested that I was trying to scam you. After reading posts on you and your company it became obvious why your mind went there. Apparently many unhappy folks, besides emergency response crews, are being contacted by you.


I am not going to go into how dissapointed I am with how this turned out. I value customer satisfaction. The thought of a new client is always exciting. I can only hope you do the right thing and pay for the services rendered. When you call again I will still be here and at your service, 24/7 as I have been since 1987.

Our phone number has been on the federal "do not call" list for almost a year - ever since it was assigned to us - and we still get calls from this outfit - the U.S. Federal Contracting Corporation, offering our business (no business here - it's a private residence) the opportunity to do business in our state under a one-year federal no-bid contract.   Sure sounds like a scam - not to mention an annoyance, since we get calls like this constantly.  The "do not call" list is apparently worthless when it comes to calls from outfits like this.

Thank god i googled this phone number. i called them twice to find out what the situation was with them and both times i got an automated answering machine asking to leave my information and number and they would get back to me. had a hunch it was a scam and here i am reading your story. hopre you resolved your issue with them.

Bill Wellingham has been scamming people under the name of Victor as well - they are one and the same person. If you are contacted by this company you are Urged to contact the Atty. General of Florida there is an ongoing Fraud Investigation that will ask your pertinent questions.  The Federal Government DOES KNOW THESE GUYS VERY WELL!!!!  AS William himself confesses to.

Received a call from 727-935-4800 at 1:22PM. They hung up on me saying nothing.

I keep on getting calls too, but no one is there. Could it be the IRS or FBI tracking peoples down?

Got a call from them but no one said anything when I answered.  All I can say is if this is fed. govt. anything, I don't want anything to do with them so they're wasting their time with me!  As for the guy saying the Do Not Call Registry doesn't apply to them, that figures.  The feds. are always above the law, aren't they?

My residence phone keeps getting calls from this phone number. We are listed on the DO NO CALL LIST AND OBVIOUSLY IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHEN IT COMES TO THIS COMPANY. I am sick of these calls!!!!!!!! Ridiculous harassing calls.

I get these at times, even though I have NEVER owned a business, I have worked for someone all my adult life. Repeated request to stop calling my number gets no where, thus my total lack of respect for these companies.

Received three calls from the so called "US Federal Contracting Corporation" today. They said that if I was interested in doing business with a one year no bid contract to call this number 727-935-4800.

Wanted to know if it is a scam or not?

I got same call from they claim; US Federal Contracting Corporation, trying to sell me: federal government contracts on a regular basis with one-year no bid. From the two pages of comments I've read in here these people are obviously thieves who belong behind bars. Don't get added to their list of victims.
