Got a call from this number, who ever it is they keep calling however never leaving a message.

I never answer numbers I don't recognize. Got this number, came here and proved my suspicions.  Jerkfaces.

This is number is being used by an an entity offering to "lower existing credit card interest rates." They are criminals using some sort of "dummy" number to hide their identity while phoning people at random and attempting identity theft.

Neither my state's Attorney General's office or Department of Telecommunications and Cable nor the F.T.C website could accept complaints regarding this phone number which might lead to inquiries regarding the perpetrators or a cessation of their activities. I believe that just as was the case with predatory mortgage lending practices a decade ago, a lot of people are going to have to get hurt before any level of government responds. I encourage anyone and everyone who has received calls like this to write his or her U.S. congressperson and ask for meaningful legislation to be written addressing the patent lack of consumer protection regarding scams which utilize telecommunications to perpetrate their criminal activity.

Got a call two days in a row on cell phone. I did not answer.  No message,

Just received call, did not answer.  Immediately did search on number and here I am.  I just brought up number in my missed calls list and put block on it.  This works until they switch to the next bogus number.

Call from 728-725-8139,  answered and no one responded on the other end, after a follow up hello, I hung up.

no caller ID, no message left.  Ignore/block.

Just called.  No message.  I never answer such calls.

Received 2 calls within a minute.  Only rang once each time, unable to answer. No message left.  Added to my "auto-reject"

They called me this morning, I didn't answer, they left no message, I was working, but when I'm not I don't answer long distance calls I don't know

This number appears on my cell phone everyday. Called it back and it's a bogus
number. they never leave a message.
