beware!   a  call  from  731-345-4195  is  a  debt  collection  scam ~ they  are  " Phishing "  for  info  &  using  

" Scare  Tactics "  to  get  money  from  you ~

Portfolio Recovery Associates. Just called the number back and verified this is indeed a number for Portfolio Recovery Associates.

yesterday they call my house from Arizona and woke up the whole family - it was 10:00 pm

I got a call from them. They didn't say what they wanted but asked for me and when they wouldn't tell me what they wanted my mother got on the phone and then they hung up. It's a scam. They also called at 8:30 pm! GRRR!

Using many numbers from different parts of the land to call & leave no message. Look-up these numbers and all are Portfolio #'s.Their calling tactics are simplistic and childish ! Should be reported to the government. They call all day but we do not respond.

Call says from Bells, TN no message left. I see from other complaints this is Portfolio Recovery, trying to get money on a loan that I do not owe.

You are right. they have used at least 16 different numbers and states calling me for a bill. but i also have the people i owe calling me for that same bill that i have made arrangements with. so they have to be scammers. the first thing they asked me for was my ssn. when i wouldn't give it to them they said it was for this particular  bill and said they needed to verify that it was me with ssn. i refused again and they hung up...

As usual, another portfolio recovery number.  This time, it said "Bells" on the name on caller ID.  Is that an attempt to make you think it is "Beall's" the department store?  lol nice try fools.

Try telling Portfolio folks they called the wrong number and then they call back 3-4 times a day. I never heard of the person they are looking for...damn these bill collectors. They best hope they stay hidden making their phone calls 7 days a week from 7am until after 10pm at night... I haven't bought anything on credit in the past 17 yrs and all my bills are paid on time so I know these lower forms of life aren't looking for me!  If Obama gets his civil war started lets all get together and hunt up some unsavory debt collectors and hang them from the nearest tree..to hell with this racial stuff I am fed up with these people!

Why these folks keep calling using different area codes ect. is beyond me!!  WE DO NOT ANSWER IF WE DO NOT KNOW AREA CODE/OR PHONE NUMBER!!  If it is someone trying to contact us we want to hear from they will leave message...duh!!!  No need for debt collectors to call us as we are on Soc. Sec. and just trying to live on what we have now....

they call from different numbers even from New York all over the country they seem to have numbers can not figure out as I do not owe anyone a a dime. there are so many people with my name it is so common a irish name. for sure.

They keep calling

we have received so called different so called debts we owe. one was supposedly for $5 from a video store that went bankrupt more than 8 years ago. Tonight they called for my husband when i asked who it was they claimed to be the House of Loyds the number said Bells, Tn 731-345-4195. I searched there is no House of Loyds in Bells, Tn. The number is a landline in Bells, Tn. They called at 7:30pm
