Card Member Services scam

Scumbag scammers.

This rotten company has been calling our home for months.  Whenever you get a person and start to tell them NEVER call again, put us on your do not call list, and that we're on the natl do not call registry...they hang up on you.  We're sick of this and that nothing can be done to stop these pests.  Come on...we pay for our phone service, it's not free so get real and give consumers a way to end these calls forever.
There should be a way for the phone companies to fine these businesses who do this and when they get more than 3 fines or complaints, they aren't allowed to have a phone number for 10 yrs.

Received a recorded call from this number.  Press 1 for a representative.  I asked the name of the company and they say Card Member Services.  I asked the mans name and he said Derek.  I asked what credit card and he said all major credit cards.  I can have interest lowered to 6.9% on any card as long as I am at least 4,000 in debt with credit card interest rate of 12.9 or higher.  I told him to remove my number and he said he didn't have to because he was the boss.  He then hung up on me!

When I tried to call the number back, a message comes on that says its a non-working phone number!

they want to lower your credit card debt but I got no credit cards. i've tried to get them to tell me what card they got my # from and that I have any credit cards then they hang up. They are very rude about me asking them question

I didn't answer the call as I didn't recognise the number.

Please make these "credit card services" scammers stop calling me!!  Thank you!

Calls me on a regular basis.

Call twice within seconds of each other, answered 2nd one, no one, so hung up.  Next call came thru as 'Unavailable'.  Answered and it was Card member services.   I don't even have a credit card.  I am also on the Do Not Call list.  Every year I go to it.

i never answer any numbers i don't recognize.... if it reall is important they will leave a message .. if not .. i don't call back...or answer.. its too easy for them to get your info even when you press number 1 .. who knows what else your unknowly giving them... just saying :)

just got this call from this number, call id said hazel from kentucky

This outfit calls me on my cell phone causing units to be used up for telemarking CRAP I never asked for.  Why can't they be shut down?  I've reported them previously to the joke website:   " www.donotcall.gov " but this group of spammers is still cranking out calls.  

Report them to your State Attorney General's office, and to your state and federal representatives. One complaint won't do much, but lots of complaints will compel action.

Message left for credit application and transfer, when asked how they got my number- they hung up-- sad

I just got a call from them and was on the phone with someone else so I didn't answer. Looked the number up and found out the info on them. Added them to my contact list and put them on my blocked/ reject list so now when they call back my phone dumps the call, no ring, no voice mail, no nothing,  modern technology is just great.

scam - why can't something be done to stop these people.  I get multiple calls at home per day.  

They keep calling.  Once I told them I wanted to be removed from their calling list.  The response?  "I bet you would!"  *click*

Keeps calling my cell number - I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  How they got my cell number is beyond me!  I never pick up and they never leave a message!
