Woohoo! ANOTHER phone number from the Portfolio Recovery scumbags. I love Google Voice! It's a shame they're looking for Mike, though.

This so company is a scam, they attempt to collect on expired, paid, collected and/or dismissed debts.  They have collected this information illegally from sources who sell your contact information.  They were attempting to collect on a invalid debt from 13 yrs ago, they called my personal cell number for my husbands debt from before we were even together claiming that my number was given as a contact number!  They get this information from services such as Intelius (along with many others) where they can pay a monthly fee to look up people and their history, ie relatives, exes, employers, addresses, old numbers, anything that could have been noted somewhere.  We have been constantly harassed by this "so called" debt recovery service for over years and years now, they disappear every so often for a stretch of time, then low and behold they get a NEW NUMBER and start this crap all over again.   DO NOT give them any personal information.  DO NOT bother talking to them, block the number and go on about your life peacefully!

Calls leaves no message, over and over again.  This number will be blocked.

Oh yes alot of familiar numbers, they act like phones do not have a decline button.

Asshats keep calling looking for some Jaynell. I've told them 65 billion times they have the wrong number. Woman on other end insists saying this is the number she had on her credit app. So? I can give any number I choose to. Tell them to stop calling or I'll report them. A week later now THIS number pops up calling.

Thank you very much for your well described and advised information. I don't answer unknown numbers or numbers with unknown area codes, although sometimes I do want to. Now I know better. I wish those people who find a real job. Thanks again.

They called me for someone else's debt. Gave me a name that is not in my immediate family.  Told them so and they still had the nerve to ask me for the persons phone number.. Not only do they not listen but they insist that your number is what was give to them on the original loan or debt. And they keep trying to call. What a bunch of morons...

Just call them back and say  "DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER ANYMORE"       Nothing else.  If they keep talking, repeat it and hang up.     If they call again, file a complaint with the district attorney,       That's the law, if they want something from you, legitimate or not, they HAVE TO send you a letter
