me too unknown caller to me no message

Just received a call from this number and left no message

caller ID says Portfoliorecov  7315774212 -  no message but I do not answer calls where I do not recognize the number

This is a collection agency. Portfolio recovery.

This number keeps calling me asking for someone else. I repeatedly tell them wrong number but they won't stop!!

This is a scam they claim that they are a collection agency, but inorder to look up your account they want your social and last 5 of bank account number. The person spoke really fast and hung up when I demaned that they send me information.

I got a call from this number but I hung up since I did not know who that was.

I usually do not answer unknown numbers -- which, for some reasons, I got quite a few in the past 12 months. All of them had the same response when I answered a couple of them: no one on the other end. Since then, I just hung up if unknown.

From what I could find on the net, these appeared to be robocalls. No need to answer.

They call but won't respond when you answer.  After you say hello TWICE, they hang up. Lol

Just received a call from this number. I am not in the habit of answering calls from numbers I do not recognize and there was no voice message.  Lately, I've been getting calls from different numbers that I do not recognize, but when I look them up, they all seem to be traced to Portfolio Recovery.

Asshats keep calling for a Jaynelle. I tell them they have the wrong number. This is the 6th number they've called from looking for this clown. I told them to take my number off their list. The next week the same dumbass calls from a different number.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, my mom is 74 years old and I've had a stroke. We now know to stay clear of these guys.

Just received a call from this number but message

They have been calling every few months for the past year, claiming I owe money to paypal.
When I called paypal they said they have no record of me owing anything........... but they said to ask for proof and if I get something from thes collectors to call them right away to varify. The person I spoke to at paypal says it sounds to her like a scam!
I asked these so called "debt collectors" to send me the info and I get nothing. But they called again 2 months later.
It is most likely a scam! If it wasn't a scam they would leave messages, and they would send any information showing a debt to help them get paid!!!

I had a debt written off several years old and they bought this debt. Called once and I answered and the girl was so rude and told me I was going to hell for not paying my obligations. I am fixing to have to file bankruptcy and then I will answer and cuss them out for calling me so many times and from so many numbers

Called them after they called me and left no message. Wanted info they should already have if they were ligit. Told them this is a cell phone and not to call it anymore per FDCPA. They told me they could not stop the calls without more info like name and social. I informed them that all they needed to know is that it is a cell phone and they did not have permission to call it anymore, and if they continued to call it anyway, my attorney would be the next person they would be talking to. They told me to have a nice day and hung up.
