I did not answer don't know who it is

They called and left no message, so I called back and received a recording that said "Thank you for calling WCA Subscriber Services. Your number, xxx-xxx-xxxx, was subscribed on March 29th." Then the call just ends with no other options.

A.) I subscribed to nothing with this name.
B.) How could I have subscribed on March 29th, when it's only February?
C.) Even if they meant March 29th of last year, why just start calling me now?

This is ridiculous.

I just got a call from this number, it was listed as originated from Seaside park, in New Jersey.
I did not call back, never answer any numbers I do not know, and I do not answert any calls from nuimbers I do not know.

The best thing to do is to ignore these calls, they may be trying to find out if someone is home and by answering you are telling them, but by ignoring them  at any hour of the day or night you will confuse them.

They call my house and cell phone and hangup without leaving a message!! Obviously if it was important they'd leave a message. When they call my house my caller id says seaside park if i figure out more i'll post it good luck! Oh and i  hate calling these numbers cause I'm always afaird they can start billing use for something or have access to our phone i dont know butif i read something like that awhile back i dont know if thats possible but now a days i dont like to take chances!!

I was checking my missed calls and that # showed up. There was no voice message so I called it back and it said "your subscription has been canceled and your # removed from our data base, good bye" and that was it!  WTH?

They just called my house phone again and didn't leave a message, so I called back and this time there was a ton of information. A recording tells you that you've been entered to win money, and then gives you options, one of which is to cancel your subscription. So I canceled it, even though I never signed up in the first place. It then tells you that it will take up to 7 business days to remove your number from their database.

Odd this number hasn't had reports since March 2012.  Same as the other callers, Caller ID read "Seaside Park".  We were eating dinner, so I let it go to voice mail and they did not know how to leave a message.

I did, however, interview with a company for a job early this morning and the process was a little shady.  I received a text message from 312-647-2173 claiming they wanted to interview me for a job I applied to.  I have been reading and learned this is a new strategy recruiters are using to hire "younger candidates" so I called the toll free# they asked I call 877-373-4904 which had no complaints or reports.  

The interview was a typical pre-screen, are you over 18?  Do you have a college degree?  Do you know MS Office?  Are you currently employed?  Why are you seeking a change?  Then they started asking questions about my age, they could care less about college degrees, they wanted to know if I had a bank account.  I told them I was OK with direct deposit if placed in a position, but they wanted to know where I banked.  When I wouldn't give them information they got insistent and said I would never get a job ... almost abusive.  I told them I wasn't moving forward with the position.

All day, telemarketers have been calling trying to sell me on-line education programs, work at home schemes, and other junk.  This is probably related somehow.
