Who is this?

No joke, just got called by this number at 8:13 PM, I picked up and there was silence on the other end, then he/she hung up. It was seriously sketchy and creepy all at the same time. My phone says the call lasted 12 seconds. Now I'm rambling. Ah, who is this?!

Recorded message was left about getting a free Visa card. Number appeared blocked on my phone.

called presenting a contest which i had won!  except i never have been a part of any drawing for a cancun trip??

Seems like they wanted my information to claim prize stay far far away could be phising scam!

This call comes about every so often. The recorded message says you won a visa gift card! SCAM!!!! Avoid at all costs.

its a visa credit card, they say you have to call them back to redeem it

answered, and a fax tone on the other end.  hung up after several "hello" attempts with no response.

Really annoying - Whatever became of the "Do Not Call" list? Apparently that was a farce too. I receive a call from this number at least every 2 weeks and do not understand why nobody can trace it or stop them.
