Receiving repeat calls from this number and NO messages (Holmdel,NJ).

This number has called me three times so far this morning, starting at 7am, with no one at the other end. I tried calling it back, but get a "this number is not in service message". What gives??!

Repeated calls - no response. Called back and number not in service.

I too have been receiving multiple calls (always weekday mornings, as early as 7am PT).  I had calls before, almost a year ago, coming from same area code... we had determined it may had been Vonage.  Possible as I did port my number that started with Vonage, later to Shaw Digital Phone and now with Fido Mobile.

then enter number as comes on your display, if it has 1 before prefix enter 1 etc
then press # sign to complete

this will block them

They started with me, again, at 6am this morning.

This is just one of a bunch of numbers that have been harassing me. I heard that Vonage sold the list of numbers that have left them, which fits with an above comment.

That must be it, I used Vonage 2 years ago and ported number to Shaw.
I received calls at 7AM MT and repeated few times with in 2 hour period.
Added this number to blockked callers list.

I think it's Vonage too.

I am ex-vonage as well. Ported numbers away from them in March & have been receiving these calls for the last 6 weeks or so.

I ported my number from Vonage as well and have just recently started receiving these calls.  Multiple calls during daytime and evening hours.  They never leave any messages and when I call back, it's a recording stating that the number is not valid.

Good thing my new provider allows blocking too!

Just got a call from this # as well.  WE are former Vonage customers as well!  They state they don't sell their "customer's" phone numbers, but I didn't see anywhere where they say they don't sell their "former" customer's phone numbers!  Makes you wonder!  >:[

Same here.  Cancelled Vonage and this number started calling me immediately.  No message.  Probably them trying to get you back as a customer.

Yes! we have been getting these calls at 3am and 4 am for couple of days and just recently cancelled our service from Vonage... Can we do something about this besides blocking the number?

I work at Vonage and this number calls my phone as well....

I was wondering why I suddenly started to a ton of bogus calls, recently, just after I ported my number away from Vonage. Now it makes sense after reading all these comments from others who did the same. Perhaps we need to report it to the FCC or whichever government entity is in charge of them. If enough of us do it, maybe they'll investigate. Doubtful, but you never know.
