who is calling pretending to be a lawyer?

Who and what is all these threatening calls about. When I try to talk to this guy in just starts yelling at me. Is it a scam to get your personal info or what

Wants to know contact information for my lawyer. Won't give me any information about the "complaint" When I said I have a right to know who is "complaining", I was told he didn't care about my rights, he would send the suppeona to my place of employment and hung up on me. When I called back, he immediately called me by name and yelled at me that I was being uncooperative and they would send the suppeona to my place of empolyment...I told if he couldn't give me any information about this matter, then this must be a SCAM!!!!! and slammed the phone in his ear.

732-722-1554... called my house 6x and a VFW Post where i volunteer as well with the same story. A payday loan. an email address i do not use registered with my DSL acct to my home number thru ATT. He gave me 1.5 hrs to wire money to him PERSON TO PERSON with a Green Form from Western Union to a DAVID GOOD to BRADENTON, FL 34205. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS PAUL MARSHALL . I called the police and am going in to talk to them in the morning. somebodys gotta stop these people and they got the wrong person when they called me. it took all i had to not call him back and tell him he has till the morning when he will meet the police.

I also had recieved a letter from Restaurant Depot saying they were hacked and my information was included. I had insyructions on steps i needed to take to protect myself.
BEWARE OF THE MAN WITH THE HEAVY (WHAT I ASSUME TO BE)ACCENT FROM INDIA. HE PROFESSES TO BE CALLING FROM A LAWYERS OFFICE AND ASKED FOR MONEY OR HE WILL PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTIONS INCLUDING GETTING YOU ARRESTED FOR CHECK FRAUD BECAUSE ON A SUPPOSED PAYMENT YOU MADE THE FUNDS WERE NOT AVAILBLE. hE PUTS A TIME LIMIT ON WHEN HE WILL SEND THE POLICE TO YOUR HOUSE. HE ALSO CLAIMS TO HAVE YOUR  PERSONAL IDENTITY INFORMATION SUCH AS EMAIL/SOC SEC NUMBER ETC, BUT HIS INFO IS VAGUE AND HE'S LOOKING TO GET MORE FROM YOU. ADVICE FROM THE POLICE AND MY ATTORNEY, HANG UP ON HIM-DO NOT TALK TO HIM. HE IS BLUFFING AND HE IS A SCAMMER.

Received a call from this number stating they were an attorney's office. He stated that I was being sued for a PayDay Loan and that if I didn't send $574.00 through Money Pak today they were submitting paperwork to my company and submitting an arrest warrent for my arrest. Of course, I was in a panic and called my PayDay Loan company to find out if this waas true. Which in deed was all lies. They stated thios was a SCAM and to NOT send anything. I did get a persons name and number to call back to give them their MoneyPak tracking number. Please see below of the B.S. attorney I spoke to.

I just recieved one of these call sTODAY! And a call left  a message for me at my work! I do hvae  a payday loan out so im freakig out! But from what im  reading this is a scam? Should i contact a lawyer???

I have been receiving harrassing phone calls, saying that I owe a a pay day loan, that I supposedly took out on the internet. I never did. The indian guy was threating me with the police, and a subpeona. He also said he will see me in court.  He initial said that I own $208.00 last week. I called today to speak to someone else and he said I owe $397.00. When I start to try to get any information they become irrate and hang the phone up. I advised them that I know they are scam artist and that I have reported it to the police. I am going as far as having them investigated by a private means. I don't want them to have my information and continue calling me trying to get me to send money to them.

I got a call from this number on 2/3/2012 around 130pm. Didn't answer and it went to vm. Got a message from a man with a heavy accent..hard to understand. Said his name was Adam Thomas and that either my attorney or I had to call him back or good luck to me. Called the number back and was told I had a Cash Advance loan I didn't pay and I was being taken to court..asked me if i wanted him to read the affidavit and was rude and told me not to talk til he was done. Said I had three charges against me for check fraud and that a warrant was being issued for me the next day and I would be arrested and I needed to have someone there to bail me out. Said they were gonna contact my work. I looked this number up online and saw it was a scam. Contacted my local police department to report it and let them listen to the vm. They told me there was no warrant against me and that it was a scam. Wanted me to try to get the number blocked. If not to let them know next time they called that i knew it was a scam and wasn't going to give them any info or money and to stop calling or i would file a report. Something needs to be done about this before more people get scammed and some lose money to them. Saw many reports of these people contacting peoples employers and harassing them there. Not sure if they contacted my work since there's alot of departments and would be hard to find me.

Now they are using email address to send threats of prosecution but using a different number:  (202) 239 2635 Ext 108 however he is still using the same name: Adam Thomas.
Beware!!  
Never received funds from them but they are prosecuting for money? Really?
