Leaves no message

These calls are from a democratic party calling center. One of the campaigns they serve is Obama for America. I finally got someone on the line today after three weeks of daily calls with no one on the line. Since we are Obama supporters, I begged the caller to talk to their call center techies to adjust the system and to add "democratic party" or something to the caller ID. Our next move was to inquire about blocking the calls but now we won't.

Calls daily and nobody answers. Children are afraid of the "ghost" caller.

They hung up when I picked up - proably a robo call

They distorted the caaller ID, the phone number came up as 9-1562
They disabled *69 the last incomig call code.

Repeated multiple hangup calls - I picked up sometimes, let it go to voicemail other times, but no one is EVER on the line.  Followed the touchtone option to have my number removed from the call list as instructed - still got repeated hangup calls.  Completely disgusted by this poor practice.

Found out from one of these boards it is Meyer Teleservices calling on behalf of the Democratic Party (which must have gotten my # from the 2008 Obama campaign - which has apparently abused it despite my repeated requests to be removed from call lists - did I mention I am disgusted??).  Meyer's contact information is below - just called and asked AGAIN to be removed...we will see.  At least you can speak to a human at the following number:

they can call all they want.if they don't identify themselves on caller id i don't pick it up.
