I just received a call from this number & I have know idea who it was. He or she did not leave a message, they just breathed into my voicemail:(

I had two calls from this number. The first one I missed and they left no voicemail. The second time they hung up when I answered.

Claims he was calling from Citicard and asked me if I still lived at a bogus address.  I'm not sure if someone is using my name or if these guys are phishing for my info.  I don't remember ever getting a card from that company and all my cards are paid off.  Number they gave me to call back is 800 545 1256

This site is cool and all but there has to be another site that actually confirms who these clowns are rather than our own rants about the callers

This number calls between 6pm and 8pm.  It will call back immediately whether voice mail picks up or I abort the call.  One night I had 6 calls from this number in like less than 10 minutes.  I don't have a land line, only a cell phone.  Tonight I did try to call the number back and no one ever answered.  Could this possibly be someone making cranks or just general harassment?  It comes up as an unpublished number in Delaware, Ohio; land line from Verizon.

I received a call on 2/12/2009.  Called it back and no answer and they didn't leave a voice message.

Call FTC 1-877-382-4357 - file a complaint  if enough people call maybe they'll do something
I tried Verizon land line and they "can't" do anything, and ATT won't either.

I just got a call from this number on 2/18/09 @ 7:30 pm.  I missed the call and called it back with no answer

I just go a call from this number, 740 368-0299, caller ID reads, "Citigroup."  They wanted to talk to, "Sally."  I told her there is not Sally here and she hung up.

This same number has been calling me too.  i have not answered it, but from hearing about this citgroup thing.... didnt someone steal a bunch or personnel files from a citigroup computer recently?  dont know if it's related or not.

I just got a call from this number today.  I didn't pick up and he left a voicemail telling me to call him back.  He didn't say what this is regard to.

I got a call from this number the other night I didnt answer and did not get a voicemail. I see the comments about Citigroup, I have never had anything with them. I do see that there was a laptop stolen in 2007 (http://datalossdb.org/incidents/1599) with personal information including names, ss#'s, and phone numbers... If you have/had something with them I would suggest going to annualcreditreport.com. Every taxpayer is provided one free credit report per year. Hope this helps!

I recently purchased a home and my mortgage was tranferred to CitiMortgage. I received to phone calls today, 5/12/09, from a 3rd party that sounded like he was from another country, he said his name was James and he needed to verify my address. I told him I was really busy and he needed to call back in (1) hour. He called back just shy of (1) hour like clock work but I didn't answer because something didn't seem right. Why would they need to verify my address when my new address is on hundreds of documents in there system? I am going to flag my credit for any new accounts or lines being opened up because this was not CitiMortgage as they said as explained to me by the Customer Service Rep when I called in after getting the 2nd call from these people. (Also, they didn't leave a message when I didn't pick up the 2nd time; if it was urgent like the guy said the 1st time when he called than any real, reputable company would have left a message with their reason for calling). Be careful everyone and protect your information!!!

The #740-368-0299 continues to call our home asking for a person by another name. They claim to be with CitiGroup.  This has gone on for 14 months. I ask if I can speak to a supervisor or call them back, they hang up.

I just receive a call from this number showing as 'Citigroup Tech', the lady asked for Karla, when I informed her that nobody with that name live here she hung up. Immediately after she called back asking for another name, when I asked her if she just called me for Karla she immediatelly hung up. Reviewing my caller id record, this number had called at least 15 times in the last week and never leaves a message.

They called me today looking for information. When I asked them a question, they quickly hung up.

The man just called telling me to call him back as he "has information" pertaining to me. He has a slight accent. I live in Kent, WA so I was wondering if it's happening anywhere in WA today. Usually they go in rounds a day.

this number has called me and i called back but got a busy signal.

called my cell, left no message.  and just got a message from home that they called there and left an 877 number as callback.  said it was for 'citi'.
