SCAM!!! Message with heavy Indian accent suggests I am being contacted regarding impending US Treasury/IRS action and I need to contact them to help them help me. They do not use my name. They do not give their name.

The IRS contacts people by US Mail and US Certified Mail, depending on their level of seriousness. They don't call people.

Recored message, heavy Indian accent, claiming to be from US treasury and you need to call back or you may face being pulled before a judge.

I just received the same message from this number. It was a man with a heavy Indian accent but said his name was "Steve Martin" from the US Treasury/IRS. He said not to ignore this second notice and to contact them right away or face fines/prosecution.

These people have called twice today.  SCAM alert.  I am going to report them

This scammer has been busy. Received the same message r.e. the IRS (had to play it twice to understand his heavy accent).
Won't be returning this call.

I've also received 2 calls within the last half hour.

Must be an auto-dialer because the same call was made 2 minutes ago...

Yep, I have had 3 calls from this knucklehead in the last 2 hours. Getting frustrated!!

Just got a call from this number also. They cut the line when I asked who they are and why they are calling me. SCAM!!!

I called back just for grins and asked if they were an agency of the US Government, they said, "No"

I then asked if they were under contract with the US Government and they said, "No, we are the US Government, and that I was in trouble for no paying my taxes in 2012."

I cried, "Bul-lshirt" and told them to stop their scam

Scam, scam, scam!!!  Got three calls today from "Steve Martin" with a heavy indian accent.  I told him I had spoken to someone else named Dan Aykroyd earlier and Steve transfered me to Dan.  Dan also had a heavy indian accent.  I asked Dan if he was a wild and crazy guy from Czechoslovakia.  He was silent for a moment and then just more threats I could bearly understand.  Typical foreigners that have no clue.  Pass the Slurpees, its time for a brain freeze.

just got the same call and i told them to go F them self and askeed them for there home number and they wouldnot give it to me? how to report sh  t like this?

PEOPLE.......Beware of this [***] scammer with the thick Indian accent from the phone number 747-201-9751...saying he is from the IRS.....by the name T. Martin. HE IS A FAKE...FRAUD.....major loser who cannot find a real job....instead enjoys pretending he works for the IRS ! Mr. T. Martin has an identity complex......because this jerk.....is just the scum of the earth trying to take advantage of individuals who will fall for his false identity and give up their Social Security #'s etc....... DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.......BUT REPORT THIS LOSER TO THE IRS.....time his ass is put in jail......!!!! I CALLED the IRS Treasury Inspector General.......at 1-800-366-4484 OR you can also report him at the IRS website under the Fraud Department!
REMINDER....The IRS DOES NOT MAKE PHONE CALLS.....they will send out a letter or certified mail if they need to contact you!!!!

Just got 3 phone calls from "Steve Martin" at this number (747.201.9751).  Same nonsense about US Treasury enforcement that the earlier posters mentioned.

I have reported him to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and I recommend others do the same.

they left 2 threatening messages in to the phone on our land line. If I'm home and answer I'll let them know the next time they call, I'll blow a whistle in to the phone. That is painful!

I just received calls from this same man what a weirdo!

This is the second phone NUMBER we have received re garding possible IRS fraud investigation. Heavy Indian accent both times. Called back the first time and asked to for IRS ID number  and to speak to supervisor and they hung up!!! FRAUD!!!

This paticular number called 3 times in one day!!
