they have called left message, not asking for anyone ,michele needs to get a statement from me and if i dont call back it could leave a negative impact against me so i need to call her back, and her company has tried to contact  several times. They never say who they are and who the company is.....

received many calls. never say who the are or who they are calling to speak to. say they need a statement and that we may not even know what it.s about.

Keep getting calls from an "Amber Knight" who says she received paperwork and needs to leave a recommendation. Funny, because they don't say who they are looking for or leave the name their business name. Shady.

I have received several calls now from this number.  The message says it's Amber Knight.  I finally returned the call and scrambled the identity of the land line I called from, so they couldn't use caller ID to figure out who I was.  I guy (sounded young) answered the phone.  He asked me what number Amber had reached me on.  I said, uh no, what I want to know is who you are.  He said he was calling from Chinoweth, Cowen & Sanders law firm.  I asked him to spell these names, and he had major trouble spelling the names.  Then I asked him how long he had worked there.  He said he had been there for 6 months.  Well, seems like he should be able to spell the name of the company he works for by now, that is, if he finished college.  Of course Amber wasn't available, but he could help me... I didn't give him any personal information.  I told him I was going to investigate and if he was legitimate I would call back.  Guess I don't need to make any more calls.

These people call me daily with the same ststement.   they are annoying and stern. im sick of having these people call me with fake names and threatening legal action.

The above calls from “NOT_AVAILABLE” (757-204-6208) appear to be fraudulent calls in an attempt to collect personal information. Calls from this number and (757-204-6209) have been repetitive with different voices, messages, and caller names. Please do not give your personal information to them. Is it not obvious that they do not even know who you are?

I do not believe they are debt collectors. These appear to be fraudulent calls in an attempt to obtain your personal information for unlawful reasons. If they were debt collectors they would have been provided with your name, address and other information already. They would have already asked for you by name and probably sent you a letter in the mail before even calling; if you had moved then the letter would have been forwarded to your new address. Do not fall for this and please report them by going to www.donotcall.gov. -or- Google: "do not call list". Please do not fall for this scam who are trying to collect your personal information in what appears to be fraudulent reasons.

This is not legal. Please report them at www.donotcal.gov, and while you are there add your phone number to the list.

Haha so funny...I just posted exactly the same message that David Wells/Welves left me...same date and time!!! Shame on them!

I received calls from David Wells, saying he is with his colleague or asst. Amber Knight. I searched for the names and I got several results, including this number. But remarkably, they used a different number to call me. It is 5714824734 and most recently, 4242709593.  This David wells  left a message saying they are calling regarding a matter that was in his desk and wanted to discuss it. they did not say the business name or what matter it is, but is an issue. They even threatened that if I do not return the call, they would take that response. hmm my number is already in the do not call list, but still scammers keep calling. how can this be stopped.

This person knew exactly what my name is, just began to call yesterday. Will not leave a message. I hung up on him.

A person called the administrator's office in my building asking for me. I have never given out that phone number as contact information. They knew my full name, and asked the person taking the call to have me call "Carolyn Landers" back at 757-204-6208. That is the only information they left and refused to give more details. I don't plan on calling back since there is no reason anyone should try to contact me through another office in my building, instead of using my phone number.

I keep getting calls from several numbers in the 757 region daily and this number is one of them. I have no outstanding debts, so I do not think this is a debt collector.  I think my number has been added to some kind of scam list. It's really annoying. Maybe i need to renew on the do not call list.
