Received a call from Special Agent Debbie Carter saying I was having a restraining order put on me. When I called back they told me I owed a bunch of money on a payday loan from 2009. The company he claimed he was working for< I had never heard of. He wouldn't give me any information, so I told him I would take my chances in court. He said he would send the subpeona right over. I then hung up.

recieved a same phone call from the same number today 4/30/12 except this was a man by the name of investigator miller and gave an affidavit number so and so forth but called from and unknown number and called my place of work 3 times and shared the same info!! is this a scam???

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Do not send money, do not give out any information. These are parasite companies that prey on people that have taken out pay day loans in the past. You dont owe these companies anything, often they have black guys or Indian sounding people who call. If you start talking crap with them, often they will come out of character and start talking crap back, especially the Indian callers. Once they do this, its actually fun to keep calling them back and harassing them...At some point the government needs to get involved and put these dirtbags in jail...

Got te same call today from a Renee Rome stating tht I have had several complaints against me from a payday loan never heard of these guys befor and this the first time I haw heard anything about this IS THIS A SCAM

I also received a phone call from Debbie Carter 5/3/212 who gave me a case number and same phone number to call prior to Letigations against me.  I told her not to call my phone again.  I called Direct Process Server to inform them that I knew of the scam, was not confortable with them having my personal information and that as it was discovered by my Bank BB&T in 2009 I never received a pay day loan or loan otherwise and that I would be contacting the FCC and my attorney and the legal department again at the bank and have them prosecuted.  Peter informed me that he was hanging up because I was irate and he was only trying to help me.  He then hung up.  I am not going to stop until these people are prosecuted, because somebody is giving them money in order for this scam to go on for this many years.  I even asked him to fax me some paper work on this matter and he stated he could send it to my address which I would not have given to him.

i totally freaked out when i heart my voice message.. the guy was saying he is a investigator and i got a SERIOUS court issue or something like that. i got scared. i called them twice and i havent talked to anybody yet cuz all i heard was music.. is this a scam?? cuz i have no reason to get a restraining order from anybody or any company..

Received call just a few minutes ago at my work asking for me to call the above number, I knew it was a scam call right away because the caller wouldn't leave his name except for investigator Fields and no company name. I took the message down as though I was someone else, & he wouldn't give out any info. These are scams.

My caller said he was a process server named Donnie Brook gave me a case number but he has the wrong name , I left him a voice mail that he had the wrong number . I will go to court to stop these guys so if I can help let me know ,the Indian guys who call say they are attorneys don't believe them either , they have been harassing me for years and I'm sick of them ,help also area code 757 is in Virginia but I believe it's a cell phone , and sure don't live in virginia

I got the same call from.Renee Rome. And they were transfering me & pretending to talk to supervisor. It didn't feel right so luckily I looked the number up before I fell for the scam. How do u report them?

They called me today about a "pending legal affadavit"
When I asked what legal firm they were from they hung up on me.
When I called back their phone system hung up on me.
So that means they have flagged my phone number as someone that won't fall for their scam.
They said were calling from a direct process server.

05/08/12.  I received the same call from Investigator Miller a guy named William Smith answered claimed that had tied to reachme at myhiuse several times which I knew was a lie.  He also told me that he would not mail anything out to me at all I asked him to prove who his company was.

Got a call at a parent's house with a 4 min message stating the same thing. Luckily, I know my rights and how to research. They have to provide validation of any legal matters/debts. All documentation about pending legal matters comes directly from your local/regional court system. Also, if you tell them not to call you at work, they are legally required to stop. It is a federal offense under the Federal Credit Reporting Act.

I rec'd the call from Investigator Scott Woodard and they are constantly calling.  I also don't like the fact that they are calling friends of mine. One of my friends said the guy was rude she cursed him out and told him not to call her house again!  How did they get these numbers.  I also was very upset when they called my parents house. You have messed up, don't call my aprents house.  Someone needs to do something about these people and quickly!

I received the same call.  My name is Renee Rome, special investigator in regards to a complaint being filed against you pursuant to claim and affidavit number NFLA-____ where you were named a respondent in a court action and must appear.  there's a contact number on file which you must call immediately 757-214-6785 please forward this information to your attorney and that the order to show cause contains a restraining order either you or your attorney will have 24 hrs to 48 hours to depose this matter.  The claim and number once again my name is R. Rome and I'll be in my office til 7pm

i received the same call.  told me he would give me 24-48 hours then something about some  complaints against me.  i didnt cal back

I got the same exact call just a few mins ago and they're a scam!! I called the police and a made a report so that they'd have it on file if anything funny happens wit my social security number. If u guys get these calls do not give them your information!!!!!!! It's all [***]!!

these people are professionals. they called my family and friends and hung up when they ask questions. i hope  they go to the hell as we are speaking. they said i do have a restraining order. whowwww.....

Tnx 4 d info. I've been harassed via phone call also many times by the same caller but uses different names having the same voice(Indian). First he told me that I have been using his SSN but when I told him that we go to the social service office he changed the subject that I owe some amount with a lending company and that I should pay within 2days or I will be in big trouble. My God how can we stop this kind of people? Such a nuisance!!!
