Capital One Collections

Received call from this number.  Some dept of Capital One - they are a credit card company.  No other information.

Received call this morning, I said hello, voice sounded foreign so I hung up.  Probably Capital One.

answering machine message said it was Linda from Capital One with a special offer

won't leave a message but call every hour. very annoying. especially since it's Sunday!

This is the third phone number this "Capital One" Rep has used to call me. They are calling my work number so I know it's not for my credit card since I don't give that number out. I'm getting very annoyed.

I get calls from this number all day long! They sometimes leave a message saying, "This is Linda from Capital One. We have exciting offers for you! Please call." I also gte calls from other numbers such as:
(215) 977-7223; (562) 483-7846; (951) 243-2302. This is VERY annoying considering I don't have any Capital One credit cards or accounts, nor do I want anything from them!!

These [***] call me 10 times a day. Always hang up. Drives me batty!

We aren't late with any payments but "Debbie" from Capital One wants to make us aware of New Opportunities. We were getting calls up up to a dozen a day, pick up, no one on the line. Finally, I just got fed up and yelled at someone to speak to me, which he finally did but he refused to talk to me, it had to be directly to my husband then That Voice stated yelling at me so I hung up.

The next day after the third or fourth call my husband, who works nights and sleeps in got a call from "Debbie" who said that without a written form letter signed by him from CapOne, they would continue to call us even though we requested they stop. So until we get the form, fill it out and send it in, they will keep calling and calling and calling. It's all up to them at this point since they might only send out the form, say once a month. So far, it's been six days, no forms, lots of calls from different numbers, Debbie, Linda, Sarah," etc. but always the same voice.

GREAT WAY to build "customer satisfaction."

I'd cancel the card but the way things are, they might just buy up the next three cards I might get and be back in the phone cycle again. So while I've been ill with some pretty serious medical conditions and waiting for doctors to call me with results and keeping my family apprised of my condition, or just getting rest, I have to screen every single call all day.

Call me 10 times a day. I just filed Bankruptcy so they can kiss my ass if they think i am going to pay them a dime. I figured i paid them at 32% interest for one full year so they got there money out of me....they are not going to get another penny.

Called my lawyer and he said that if they called again (this is after i told them i filed) that i can sue for harassment. got a call just now fro Cap One and contacted my lawyer...lawsuit is filed!

This is for all the people that get harrassed!

ASS Wipes call 12 times a day .... annoying

They call me at all hours on my cell phone leaving messages from "Linda" that they may have some opportunities for me using several different telephone numbers. DELETE DELETE

I am sick of harrassment from Capital One and Citi bank.  I have a disputed charge on each and they won't converse with me about THAT, only that there is an unpaid amount.  The last time they called, I received a 'phone bank'-in India (maybe the credit companies could hire good employees in the United States.)  I tried to explain for the 10th time I had disputed charges.  The employee got rude and harrassing, and I raised my voice and threatened to call my Senators and Congresswoman as well as my State Attorney General.  The employee hung up on me.  I immediately called back and got someone else and told them that IF that ever happened to me again, I would be making those phone calls.  This young lady 'made a note in my file'.

I just got a collections call from this number. Funny thing is, I just activated my payment protection on this card, so if it's not up to date, it's their own damn fault.

WTF Cap One? I just got done singing your praises for how easy you were making things for me, and now this?

I must get 5 + calls a day from this number. I Googled to read all of this crap... Hey Capital One, listen to what people are saying about you. No wonder you need our tax dollars to bail you out. You have no clue what customer service it.

Bank-created currency causes inflation.

Easy way to stop any credit agency from calling.  Answer the phone, when someone comes, tell them a false name, but give the correct phone number.  Say that you just started working at this new job as a replacement for "YOUR REAL NAME", and he/sheno longer has this phone number.   They always take you off the list immediately...

I got tired of "Linda" calling all the time so I did a little research and found a Capital One phone number located in Richmond that's answered by a person. I believe it's a call center.  ( 804-967-1000 )

Next I went to Capitol One's site, logged into my account and changed my cell phone contact number to 804-967-1000.  Since the system they're using is automated, I added the same number to home, work and alternate. Now the automated system calls the call center using all 4 numbers.  Given that when I was called they would sometimes call several times a day.  I figure that call center is getting 8 calls + or - when the system fires up.

And that ladies and gents is how you Rick Roll Capital One and waste they're time and money.  :-)
